HOLIDAY INN COQUELLES ^{* * * *}

S a IHG memebr, this is my goto Hotel to use when I just want a short 3 day break. The hotel is perfectly located ,close to the tunnel and 10 min drive to Calais. Set in a quiet location in Coquelles. There is ample parking and newly installed EV chargers. Check-in is always smooth and welcoming with staff speaking very good English too. |There are 2 lifts to use for floor access and on floor 1 there is a ice machine, free to use.|My room was a twin on the second floor and was a great size, very clean, comfy beds, with extra pillows if needed. There is also a kettle and cups in the wardrobe on a tray for you to use along with a iron and board. There is also a small mini fridge to use. Bathroom is very modern with a bath and overhead rain shower. Plenty of power sockets to charge your devices and a couple of plugs are uk type which is a nice touch. |There is a modern gym here, swimming pool and sauna. Towels to use for the pool are available at reception. |Will be booking again soon for my next short break away.|I can not comment on the restaurant as I never used it. I did use the bar and a pint of beer is €9. |The only very small negative from this time to previous visits it the lawns at the front, and sides was a little overgrown as there usually very pristine and well kept bit that is just me being very picky. |Would recommend

Hôtel sympathique et au calme.
A proximité immédiate de l'autoroute, de Cité Europe et du Tunnel sous la Manche.
Arrivée dans un atrium très agréable, par contre le parc alentour mériterait un bon coup de tondeuse. Grand parking et bornes de recharges pour véhicules électriques.
Chambre pour quatre dont deux enfants agréable et bien équipée (il y a même une table et un fer à repasser). Lit king size vraiment confortable, notre chambre avait un canapé-lit qui a servi pour les enfants donc nous étions un peu serrés mais sinon il y a un espace salon qui avait l'air spacieux.
L'accès à la piscine était inclus et la température de l'eau était agréablement chaude mais il faisait hélas beaucoup trop chaud dans l'espace donc nous ne sommes pas restés longtemps.
Restaurant non testé mais bar agréable avec une terrasse et petit déjeuner de qualité avec beaucoup de choix.

En résumé un bon point de chute pour une arrivée à Calais et une bonne découverte. A noter que les cartes du restaurant et bar sont également en anglais.

Amazing hotel and vey quiet. Has a good gym and pool also just watch out for chickens running across the road????. Great view from the rooms also

J’adore cette hôtel pour le calme la propreté et la gentillesse du personnel et n’oublions pas le petit déjeuner il est incroyable
