Booked through Hotels.com, received confirmation of booking, correct dates, correct times, all good. Arrived at hotel only to be told they are full. The guy was quite rude & actually followed me out the door giving me hand signals (he spoke very decent English). I got a good look at the hotel while I was in there trying to work out what the hotel had done wrong (most likely not updated Expedia about their availability) & I was glad I didn't stay there.

The hotel is in a great location next to a park in a nice area of the town with free on road parking just outside.. The ferry terminal is about 5 minutes drive. All communications, entry codes etc were done via Whataspp and worked faultlessly. The room was a good size and nicely laid out, everything worked, the wifi was excellent and the shower decent. There was a lounge with coffee machine etc and extra seating. The room was quiet and the shutters helped keep both the noise and sunlight out. Fantastic value.
