HOSTELLERIE SAINT-LOUIS ^{* * *}

We have been here several times over the years and always enjoyed it. It has changed hands this year and we were happy to give it a try. We stayed 4 nights the room was fine however we only had hot water for a shower on the first morning despite telling the Michel. The restaurant has the "savoureux" marking and we expected the standard of excellent food we have had previously. For all 4 nights the three starters were the same with only slight changes in presentation. The three choices of main courses were beef steak. lamb leg steak and cod for 2 nights and lamb rump, tuna and veal the other two nights. The beef and the lamb leg steak were quite tough and the lamb rump did not taste like lamb?. The cod was very nice. It certainly does not deserve a gourmand or savoureux marking from Logis.||The hotel has been tastefully refurbished down stairs, however Michel does not seem to be focused on customer service for his guests, the restaurant staff were friendly and helpful fortunately as Michel was only seen on arrival briefly one other morning||When I checked out the bill was confused as it had been split into two separate parts and the breakfast staff available were left to sort it out for me. ||We will not be returning to this hotel.

Magnifique restaurant, repas exquis, à refaire quand on viendra dans le nord..

Le Patron prend le temps de discuter et de nous expliquer l'histoire du lieu.
Le repas excellent, produits frais de la bonne cuisine bravo à la cuisinière. ????????

Je recommande cette adresse, en plus nous avons eu un temps magnifique apéro à l'extérieur. ????
