Les plats sont pas exceptionnels.. serveurs assez « pressés » de prendre la commande. Déçu

Venu seul, 20 minutes pour être placé (alors qu'il y avait peu de monde, tous les serveurs vous regardent dans le blanc des yeux sans vous placer ni même prévenir quelqu'un qui pourrait s'occuper de nous)

45 minutes pour la prise de commande (alors que les personnes autour de moi, arrivées après, ont été vues par le serveur avant) - le serveur aux abonnés absents, qui sert une table puis repart aussitôt en oubliant ses autres tables apparemment.

Le repas est arrivé rapidement par contre et très bon mais... sans eau, qui n'est jamais arrivée.
Et impossible de ravoir le serveur, trop occupé à fuir ses clients il semblerait...

Comptez 20 minutes de plus pour que le serveur repasse, je lui ai fais signe pour payer car au total, près d'1h30 juste à attendre et après une journée de travail, je n'avais qu'une envie : rentrer chez moi...

Possible que ce soit un coup de malchance, je reviendrais tester en espérant une meilleure expérience ce coup-ci !

On vient régulièrement et le service est au top. Mentions spéciales pour Eliott qui a toujours le sourire et la joie de vivre, c'est un vrai plaisir !

We visited the restaurant here this evening and had a good meal. It's what I would describe as solid food - nothing ultra fancy, but what they do they do well. Good quality produce in large amounts. We started with the charcuterie board, which I'd actually say was probably slightly too big for just the 2 of us. It would easily do 3 or a small 4. We also had the gin classique which was very nice, although a little bit dangerous because you couldn't really taste the gin. For the main course we both took the spicy beef burger. For my part, the cheese was a little too spicy, but that was 100% on me. It was a big portion too. My friend had the double burger which looked enormous. For dessert I had the speculoos tiramisu, which was light and creamy and refreshing, and my friend had the cafe liegoise, which was again a standard classic done decently well.

All in all, with the 2 cocktails, a beer, a bottle of wine and a large bottle of beer that we purchased to take home, the bill came to just under €115. For the amount of food we ate, I think that's entirely reasonable.

The staff were all friendly and our waiter was very nice. Unfortunately the door kept getting left open and I was directly in a beam of sunlight and it was about 37°C today so I was very hot and several times our waiter went by and closed it, which I thought was very kind.

The atmosphere is hard to describe. The tables are very crowded together and there's a constant playlist of 90s bangers on the sound system, which suited me down to the ground because it was the sound of my childhood lol. The toilets were reasonably well kept for such a busy restaurant. The tables, glasses and cutlery were clean.

If I had to point out any negatives, I would only have small things. We did wait a long time for drinks and the shrieking from the kitchen, while amusing because it was obvious the staff were pranking each other, wasn't very professional.

Otherwise it was pretty good and we will come back. Of note, you have to make reservations and apply for their fidelity card online. They will not take reservations over the phone.
