Hélène et Jean sont des hôtes accueillants, disponibles et sympathiques. Ils donnent de bons conseils de visites touristiques et d’adresses de restaurants. Ils sont soucieux de s’adapter aux attentes de chacun… |La maison est belle, dans un parc soigné et agréable. La formule gîte/appartement laisse toute autonomie avec possibilité de prendre le petit-déjeuner (généreux, varié et délicieux) dans la maison principale. |Nous recommandons sans réserve cette adresse et nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

This is an elegant and charming B&B tucked away in a beautiful property surrounded by nature, within the idyllic French countryside. It's the perfect place to escape to if you need to decompress from the overstimulation and pressures of city life.||Our stay was super comfortable, peaceful and enjoyable.||Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by Jean who showed us around and helped me carry my luggage up to my room.||The house is incredible, with so many little details that create a delightful atmosphere. Our room was charming, with French decor, comfortable beds and a view of the lush, manicured garden/courtyard.||Breakfast is served from 8 to 10am, but Jean and Helene are very flexible and accommodating if we wanted to sleep in some days. They served fresh baguettes and croissants, cheese, ham, fruit, coffee or tea, and a different breakfast treat every day, such as French toast, pancakes or pumpkin muffins.||After breakfast, Helene would sit with us and ask where we felt like adventuring to that day, then she would pull out a map of the county and highlight some places that matched our interests. ||Helene's knowledge and passion for this region makes her the perfect tourist advisor! We enjoyed all of her recommendations such as the fancy restaurant Mr. Guss where we enjoyed amuse bouche; Betty Beef - a restaurant on top of a hill with a view of the Pyrenees that serves delicious steak from their own raised beef; the duck farm with award winning foie gras; and my favourite - Helene's friend Isabelle who owns a wheat farm and supplies high-quality flour. I had to buy some flour to bring home because the bread in this region is so delicious and healthy, it did not upset my digestive system, but in fact soothed it. Helene also recommended beautiful places to see; my favourites are the ruined castle Chateau Lagardere, the museum with an art collection that included pieces from Monet and Van Gogh, the cute little village of Roques, and the Cassaigne armangac distillery. ||Helene was so accommodating and ensured that we had everything we needed every day, whether it be towels, our beds changed, etc. Helene and Jean are so pleasant to talk with, they are so supportive, kind and have a great sense of humour. They truly understand the concept of catering to their guests, which makes the experience in their establishment an unforgettable one. ||If you ever want to treat yourself to solitude and elegant comfort in the idyllic French countryside, the best way to do it is to get the true "VIP guest" experience from Les Bruhasses. You will feel like you stepped into a delightful fairytale, and you will leave this place feeling healed and renewed.

Our stay with Helene and Jean was wonderful! We loved their hospitality, Helene will plan your entire stay for you. She had the best recommendations for restaurants and things to do. The room we stayed in was immaculate, large and beautiful. Highly recommend to everyone!
