We stopped by here a couple of days ago on a cruise having noticed it was an Alsacian restaurant.
The flammekueche was the best we've had outside of Alsace. The server (who I believe was the owner) did explain the menu, in perfect English, which is nice for those who are not aware of Alsacian cuisine.
For those not aware, flammekueche are similar to pizza with an ultra thin crispy crust. The regular is topped with creme fraiche, lardons, and onions. We had the Forestière Gratinée. This is added Mushrooms (Forestière) and extra cheese (Gratinée).
They also served a selection of toasted sandwiches.
They catered to plenty of locals so it wasn't a tourist trap. The house wine was local, but they also sold a good selection of Alsacian wine to pair with your food. The local wine was excellent.
We loved this restaurant and would definitely be back if we're ever in the area again!
