We only had a few days in Bordeaux and wanted to find an idyllic setting. Le Chateau Real was it! Kelly and Elian have transformed this beautiful spot into a luxurious and inviting experience, serving as attentive hosts. Our room was beautiful, the pool was an oasis, the breakfast excellent. Kelly was incredibly helpful with restaurant recommendations and on our last night, we had the charcuterie board at the hotel after a long day in the vineyards. We wish we had stayed longer. Highly recommend.

Sehr schönes kleines Hotel mit sehr liebevollen Gastgebern. Das Hotel wird von einer jungen Familie geführt. Es ist sehr sauber, alles modern ausgestattet und der Service ist einfach toll. Hier hat man das Gefühl, dass sich um jeden Gast individuell gekümmert wird. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und liebevoll zubereitet. Man kann leckeren Wein bestellen mit Käse und Wurst … sehr lecker.

Beautiful chateau and good location for the area but the service and hospitality was pretty awful. We were made to pay in full ahead of time by bank transfer (credit card or any other insured method was not accepted by the managers), we were told we could not sit outside for breakfast because we were staying in the annex (which is more expensive than the rooms..) and the breakfast was very overpriced for just bread and coffee. There was loud (bad) music played all day by the pool which ruined the tranquility. A few other small incidents with the managed were unpleasant. Would definitely not recommend to stay here if you expect good service.
