Nous étions un groupe et avons eu la chance de réserver l'ensemble des chambres de La Closerie de Fronsac pour trois nuitées. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour grâce à notre hôte, qui a été formidable : il nous a donné de précieux conseils pour découvrir la région et nous a même aidés à organiser tout notre programme de visites !
Nous avons également eu le plaisir de dîner sur place un soir, après une superbe dégustation des vins produits directement sur le domaine. Ce fut une soirée mémorable : tout était délicieux et l’ambiance parfaite.
Le lieu est magnifique, entouré de vignes, avec de belles terrasses et plusieurs salons à notre disposition. C’était vraiment l’endroit idéal pour partir à la découverte du vignoble bordelais.
Un immense merci encore pour cet accueil exceptionnel !

Our honeymoon stay at Château Fronsac was absolutely unforgettable! I still think about it with warmth and goosebumps. It was so cozy and beautiful, with an incomparable château atmosphere that made us feel like we were in a fairytale.
The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making our stay even more special!!! The breakfasts were delicious, and their own Fronsac wine is something that deserves a review of its own! Unfortunately, we only stayed for two nights... But we took with us bottles of wine and memories.
One of my favorite moments was waking up early and walking through the vineyards in the morning. Just imagine this - the air was heavy with humidity but filled with the sweet scent of grape juice!!! and then you step out from the vineyard and feel the croissants scent freshly baked for the breakfast... OMG!!!
Château Fronsac is truly worth a visit, and I highly recommend it!

Colourfully refurb'd/decorated traditionally-styled main family home of an up-and-coming wine maker. Our room was very warm, comfortable and had elegant bathroom facilities. The characterful chateau caters to a wide range of guests’ desires, with rooms that have been robustly renovated and are well appointed with all amenities you could reasonably want. As a package, this home base presents several options either to adventure around the St.Emilion/Pomerol region and sample so many excellent wineries plus local restaurants (in nearby Libourne) OR to spend quiet, contemplative time, relaxing in the lounge before a warm open fire.||The family provide enthusiastic and dedicated hosting with clear experience in hospitality. Supremely accommodating and as an outstandingly obliging host, Clement was our main contact who maintained great communications. Nothing was too much trouble. He included a [free] wine tasting tour of their onsite production facilities, plus supplied helpful guidance about worthwhile vineyard alternatives to visit in the area. And, yes, their Clos Saint Michel Canon Fronsac wine is well-rated, and was delicious enough for us to buy several bottles. In-house dinner was available, but we already had reservations elsewhere. Very pleasant breakfast provided (even for our v.early departure). Such was the warmth and inclusive welcome of Clement, all guests felt able to get along so well.||OVERALL, a highly positive visit. Great value hospitality for St.Émilion/Fronsac area.

Agréable séjour à la Closerie de Fronsac. Chambre confortable et délicieux déjeuner. Notre hôte Clément nous a fait visiter son chai et nous a donné des explications très intéressantes. C'était une belle initiation pour nous à cet art de l'œnologie. Il a été très généreux en réservant pour nous des visites de vignobles dont un classé grand cru, il nous a aidé à organiser notre journée afin de rentabiliser notre temps dans la région. Les références de restaurants ont aussi été très apprécié. Je recommande fortement cet hébergement.
