The staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful. An illustration of this is that they helped me send a detailed text message in french when making arrangements with a taxi service. They have a variety of types of rooms. Ours was a standard room which was perfect for our needs. Breakfast started at 7am which allowed us to set out early when we needed to. It is a short 7 minute walk to the Arena and plenty of places to eat nearby. It is also a non pressured 15 minutes walk to the bus and train stations. These were all the things I needed. Certainly a very good small friendly hotel.

Vraiment magnifique, l'accueil d'Ulysse était vraiment super et donne envie d'y retourner.
Dommage que les rideaux de la chambre ne soient pas occultants ou avec un volet....plein jour à 6h du matin dans la chambre. Heureusement que le petit déjeuner le fait vite oublier !!

Es la 2ª vez que nos alojamos en este hotel durante la feria de Pentecostés. Recomiendo la planta 1ª porque algunas habitaciones tienen un artesonado maravilloso en el techo si bien algunas pueden resultar pequeñas y la distribución del baño peculiar, ya que los inodoros pueden estar separados del resto, algo que por otra parte también puede ser una ventaja... Es un hotel con encanto y agradable muy bien situado, cerca de todo caminando (la plaza del Reloj, las Arenas, La Maison Carrée...) .Aunque la calle en la que se encuentra tiene algunos locales enfocados a otras culturas, no se percibe ningún inconveniente salvo algo de jaleo nocturno y puntual en temporada de feria, algo que en un hotel pequeño puede alarmar pero que desgraciadamente parece ser normal en casi cualquier lugar. El personal es amabilísimo y desayunar en el patio es una gozada porque es una preciosidad.

Fantastically unique place to stay in Nimes! The old world with modern amenities. We loved our stay and found the room to be huge, comfortable, and quiet. The location of the hotel is perfect for wandering the inner city of Nimes and close to all the important sites. For those coming by car, I suggest dropping your bags in the lobby before you go searching out public parking. There are two good public parking garages within a few blocks of the hotel, but a bit far to drag a bag.
