My partner and I and a couple of our friends visited this winery during a weekend trip to France. The property was absolutely beautiful, especially in the fall with all of the trees. Pierre was super welcoming, and we really liked how he included all of the history of the property, his family, and himself on the tour. It was definitely the most unique winery tour I have been to, and I mean that in the best way. It feels very personal, passionate, and intentional. His focus on truly organic wine growing is refreshing to learn about, and was the first time I felt that I learned something new or changed my perspective about wine. I was nervous to try this "truly organic" wine, but I was proven wrong. It was by far some of the best wine I have ever had, I enjoyed every tasting that they gave us. I will definitely be looking out for their brand, and will continue to buy from them however I can.

You can see the effort of a family trying to thrive on such a competitive world but without leaving their values of producing organic wines; their project above all. On top, labels of the wine bottles are made by the owner who is also an artist. Nice environment, nice people, good wine. What else? Thanks Pierre and Yana for opening your house to us.

Buscamos mucho los sitios a visitar para aprender de los vinos de Limoux. Incluimos este lugar por los comentarios aquí y en algunos lugares de vinos. Visitamos su webpage para entender los horarios y decía que estaba abierto. Llegamos hoy y no nos atendieron (después de hacer el viaje a verlos, no fue casualidad pasar), un señor nada simpático nos dijo que para las visitas SOLO con reserva y ya.
A los visitantes, no vayan si no tienen reserva y a Château de Gaure, actualicen la información para no hacer perder media hora de viaje a las personas que nos interesan los vinos.

Nous n'étions que deux mais le propriétaire a pris tout le temps d'expliquer la riche histoire du domaine et son histoire personnelle. Passionné, il nous explique comment il parvient à créer ses vins d'exception ! C'est un vrai régal, du vin haut de gamme.

We visited this winery on our way back from Saint-Hilaire FR to where we were staying in Carcassonne back in October of 2022. This quaint winery was picturesque, and the wine was delightful. The owners were knowledgeable and welcoming, showing us maps of the region and where their grapes grew. Prices were amazing compared to what we pay for in the states. We ended up leaving with quite a number of bottles we were thankful made it all the way home in our luggage.

After a year, the Languadac vintage was just as vibrant and bold as we remembered. We will always think fondly of our visit here.

The loveliest couple craft the most incredibly complex and delicious wines. The Château grounds feel blessed and are filled with a welcoming historic energy. The Château is filled with colourful abstracted paintings by the owner himself. A sensory feast visually and for the pallet. ???????????????? highly recommended

Pierre and Janna are a friendly hardworking couple determined to bring the best wine in a natural environment to those who enjoy the benefits of their deligence in harvesting grapes for their delicious wines.

Mooie wijnen aan serieuze prijzen. Prima ontvangst, maar we hebben warmere ontvangsten gekend. Ook de keuze in wijnen is beperkt (2 wit/2rood) waarbij onze keus op de duurdere is gevallen. Geen “tour” of “visite”, alleen degustation.
