Sur notre route, nous nous arrêtons pour boire un café en terrasse. Servi sans sous tasse, sans cuillère ni sucre. Le café est un jus de chaussette que nous avons payés 2€ la tasse. A ÉVITER

We were there for the first time with a live band playing. The atmosphere was amazing and the food was just as great. We had chicken kebobs and pizza and all was excellent.

We had a great evening on Easter Monday; the BBQ food was delicious and so well presented and served to our large group of 16. Jane (the owner) and her staff are welcoming, really accommodating and it is a fantastic venue. In addition the live music was such fun - highly recommend ????

NOT DOG FRIENDLY
I walked in here with my gorgeous Newfoundland dog, who is perfectly behaved (many people said hello to him and said how lovely he was). However I was greeted by the rudest, most horrible and unwelcoming women on the bar. No smile or welcome or anything.
In fact she asked me to leave the establishment as my dog was not on a lead. I've never experienced this before but complied - said I was 'breaking the law' which was completely false.
I then asked for the menu and she refused to give me this as I had to go inside and get it myself (which was impossible with my dog with me) as the bar was on a busy road and I was not going to endanger my dog for this idiocy.
She said she is 'uncomfortable around dogs', yet she runs a brewery. How can you run a brewery which are renowned dog friendly establishments and then act like this?
I drove 10 miles especially to visit this establishment, based on recommendations by other English folk while on my holiday. However I'm frankly APPALLED at how I have been treated. Moreover, we are in a cost of living crisis and to reject business, in a region of France that is struggling with employment and income generation is shocking.
I would recommend that you AVOID this establishment like the plague, unless you like being spoken to in a condescending, rude and hostile manner. There are plenty of other brilliant, local establishments that will gladly welcome you with a smile, and authentic food and drink.

Love this place and am a regular while I'm in the area! Pizzas are outstanding and there's always a great range of beers plus great local wines.

Super chilled Thursday afternoon spot for a drink and a pizza, I've been coming to this part of france for 20 years and i honestly think it was the best pizza I've had in the area in all.that time! Very much worth a detour! Opens at 4 - pizzas from 5.30pm.

Favourite bar in the area, great beer on tap and lovely view of Puivert. Can spot the gliders hovering in the valley. Bar also serves pizza and regularly hosts live music.

J’ai découvert ce lieu par hasard et franchement je suis séduite ! Une vrai pause dans notre route ou la bonne nourriture a été accompagnée d’une ambiance musicale agréable et tellement country. J’y reviendrai avec plaisir et cette fois cela ne sera pas par hasard

Lieu unique et très chaleureux avec chouette décoration, choix incroyable de bières brassées sur place, très bonnes pizzas au feu de bois et concert live; d’autres propositions gustatives sont proposées genre plancha de charcuteries et de fromages locaux.
Bar très très atypique avec un poêle Jøtul pour les connaisseurs.
À ne surtout pas manquer.

QDB (Brasserie du Quercorb) offers a lot of homemade beer on tap in the English tradition. Snacks include cheese or sausage platters or pizzas, which taste good unlike in the area and are more authentically Italian than in Quillan, for example.
There is often live music here and today there was a jam session of Irish folk music. No band, just the guests came together with their instruments and played together as if they had known each other forever.

After work on Saturday we had drinks at the BDQ. What a fabulous experience.
A lovely warm and comfortable environment with a roaring log fire on one of the coldest nights of the year balanced by cold crisp and delicious white wine. The service was delightful and our Camembert with charcuterie made for a fabulous supper.
We cannot commend this place highly enough. Well worth a visit. Paul and Val.

Nous sommes arrivés à 19h et repartis à 20h10, après avoir pu seulement boire une bière. Le système (commande au comptoir et plats récupérés avec un biper) est censé être plus rapide qu’un service en salle, ce qui nous a tenter de grignoter un bout avant de reprendre notre route.
Après 30 à 40 minutes d’attente, toujours pas de salades en vue. Il y avait un peu de monde certe, mais ce qui nous a surtout dérangés, c’est de voir la gérante discuter tranquillement à une table , pendant que les employés s’agitaient derrière le bar pour suivre la cadence. Face à la situation, nous avons demandé un remboursement.
La gérante a réagi de manière peu commerciale, sans excuses ni geste de compréhension, ce qui a gâché l'expérience. On nous a répondu : « Donc 30 minutes d’attente, et je dois jeter deux salades et vous rembourser ? Vous voyez le monde, l’attente est normale» une remarque franchement déplacée au vu de la situation, qui donnait presque l’impression qu’on devait culpabiliser de son manque d’organisation.
Nous avons finalement été remboursés, donc je laisse 2 étoiles. Cet avis est aussi pour faire prendre conscience à l’établissement ce que peux ressentir la clientèle de l’autre côté.
Je ne déconseille pas totalement ce lieu, mais si vous espérez manger rapidement sur la route, passez votre chemin.
