Nous avons réservé une nuit Chai Paulette pour notre randonnée sur le chemin d’amadour. Chambre et salle de bain propres et spacieuses. Petit déjeuner copieux et bon. On recommande

Nous avons fait escale chez "Chai paulette" pour une nuit lors de notre randonnée sur le chemin d'Amadour.|Chai paulette est très bien situé, à proximité du chemin d'Amadour. La mignonette comme cadeau de bienvenue est appréciable. Cathy est accueillante et disponible.

The chambre d'hote is run by Cathy Heraud, who also is the member of the Heraud family who runs the Chateau Saint Christoly (a cru bourgois) next door. She came to open up for us all stained with grape juice, as they had been pressing. After showing us the room, she gave us a very quick tour of the winery. We could have done a tasting too. The room was spacious and the bathroom excellent. Breakfast is a typical french breakfast. A drawback to Saint Christoly is that it is small, there is no food store or nearby restaurant. Pizza delivery is the only option if you are on foot. Something that was special was that we got to taste a sample of this year's merlot. Bottles from the vats were lined up on the bench and Cathy offered us a taste. I was surprised how good it was even at this stage.
