We used the swimming pool a couple of times too and it was kept clean and at a comfortable temperature. A welcome addition especially in the very warm weather.
Nothing was too much trouble for Jean-Phillipe or indeed the staff serving the delicious and varied breakfasts in lovely garden surroundings. He also spent a nice long time explaining the facilities available and giving great advice of where to visit (and where not to visit ????) including best places to park. I’ve read the poor reviews of certain people who visited a week before us and can conclude that it must be the visitors who must be vindictive and clearly don’t know how to behave.
Clos Marcamps is also placed well for visiting the local area such as Bordeaux, St Emilion, Blayes (citadel - not the town! sorry) and the Corniche, and Arcachon & Cap Ferret (by passenger ferry from Arcachon) which are particularly delightful. Also as a stop off for Spain.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par les propriétaires, discrets et aux petits soins pour leurs convives, leurs conseils touristiques ont été précieux.
Un grand merci également à l’employée qui nous a servi notre petit déjeuner, très aimable et souriante.
