C'est une belle ville, tranquille et sécurisée grâce à la police municipale, la gendarmerie et les caméras de surveillance.
Il y a des supermarchés, écoles, collèges, lycées, une gare et des bus......

A lovely spot on the Marne - Ben and Asad were particularly helpful. Hired an electric boat for an hour which was enough to journey downstream towards Paris up to the bridge at Ussy sur Marne and back. Refundable deposit of €350 taken and we paid for the option to have a table - €5 - so we could eat lunch which we'd just bought from the open-air bar-restaurant "La Guingotte" just next door. If you book at least 24 hours in advance you can add an excellent value hamper provided by the restaurant. The office - or Capitanerie - is well-presented and clean, there is plenty of disabled parking available right next to the office. Highly recommended.
