I just got back from my trip with my husband to Paris with my husband. Honestly, it wouldn’t have gone nearly as well without the concierge at the San Regis. He went above and beyond to help us plan to get tickets that were very difficult to obtain. Honestly, I didn’t really plan very much before I got there and he saved the day! Also, the hotel was beautiful. I’m very picky. Worth every penny, I will definitely stay there again.

Everything about the hotel is first class and first rate. The rooms, the bed, breakfast, the entire staff, are amazing. If you have a chance to stay at any hotel in Paris, stay here. They staff was more than helpful. Every thing is well thought out. Definitely going back.

Charming opulent hotel and great friendly staff. Restaurant had amazing food and the location was perfect to walk to major attractions. Front desk Jerome made our accommodations better as we celebrated our wedding anniversary. Amador the bartender was informative and friendly.

Having stayed at many five-star hotels around the world, the contrast in service and hospitality was stark. Upon arrival, we were passed between check-in staff and told to sit in the lobby with no clear timeline for our room. After 30 minutes unattended, someone approached us—only to realize we were not who they thought we were. While continuing to wait, we were never offered refreshments or directed to restrooms—a small but meaningful oversight after a 24-hour travel day.
The room itself was charming, but had issues. The bathroom sconces were crooked and loose, the shower door leaked water onto the floor, and most concerning, the ceiling vent FELL on my head while I was blow-drying my hair.
Service throughout the stay continued to disappoint. Doormen were rarely present when needed—my husband carried three large suitcases down the stairs and through the front door before anyone offered assistance. Front desk staff often appeared disengaged, more focused on chatting amongst themselves than greeting guests.
While our stay wasn’t terrible, it certainly wasn’t up to the standard we expect from a hotel of this caliber and price point. We had hoped for a more refined and attentive experience.
If you are looking for a luxurious five-star accommodation in Paris, there are better options.
