We had the 100% chocolate mousse and possibly the best mousse au chocolat we’ve eaten. Ever. Staff helpful and some seats outside to enjoy the mousse.

My mom and I spent some time trying to find this shop after we visited a museum nearby and saw that it wasn’t too far away (I had added it to our list of places to visit in Paris as I had seen this place all over Instagram with tons of people raving about the quality of the chocolate mousse). I’m not sure if the two employees were simply tired after a long day but they didn’t give off a friendly or welcoming vibe at all. One of them was a bit nicer but the other was dismissive and seemed really annoyed when I asked questions about their selection. I’ve worked in customer service and when prospective customers walk into your shop, you’re supposed to make them feel comfortable enough to ask questions about your product. This isn’t a matter of not understanding the oftentimes standoffish French attitude because I’m French too! ???? But the vibe was just super strange and my mom and I felt like a hindrance which is not how you do business. Anyhow, the chocolate mousse was super overrated too and made me confused about all the Instagram hype. I preferred the chocolate mousse from the grocery store ????♀️ Nothing special, don’t waste your time.
