We had the 6-course tasting menu, and we enjoyed every bite. Starting with two amuse-bouches, the menu was followed by two appetizers, two mains, and two desserts. The interesting combination of the French, Japanese and Malaysian cusines concocted by the wife and husband chef duo was just sensational. The husband chef welcomed and served every guest himself, took time to explain the dish, and he was very friendly. In addition to the amazing dishes and service, the plating and cozy ambiance added an additional nice touch. Highly recommend this one-star restaurant if you're looking for a beautiful dining experience near the Eiffel Tower.

Excellent experience. This 1 Michelan star restaurant offers 3 different options of dégustation lunch menu. The chef will serve you in this 4-5 tables minimalist, clean, nice restaurant. We had the option of pairing wine, an it was well worth it.
Don’t leave Paris without experiencing the best food you can ever have.

La salle du restaurant est minuscule et le décor minimaliste mais cela correspond en fait parfaitement à la cuisine du chef. Les plats sont élégants et offre une explosion de saveurs qui contraste avec l'ambiance si posée de la salle. Une belle réussite. Le service fut irréprochable et la carte des vins contient de vrais trésors.

This restaurant is sublime! An exceptional culinary experience that we will always remember. On the night we were there, Chef Ryu was serving and Chef Kwen was in the kitchen. We had the five course menu where each offering was perfection…such wonderful, complex flavors. We also enjoyed the quiet, intimate, and relaxing dining room that accommodated only five or six tables. Their wine cellar is very impressive as well. We will definitely return to this wonderful establishment!

Absolutely lovely! I cannot recommend Pertinence enough. The attention to every detail is impeccable. I really appreciated the extra effort to accommodate our dietary preference and allergy. If you have the opportunity to dine, don’t skip out on the wine pairing!

Flat out THE BEST MEAL I'VE EVER HAD!!!! We are in our 60's, live in NY and have had more than a few good dining experiences. This was by far THE BEST!!! The food was superb, the ambience sublime (minimalist/modern) and the presentation exquisite. The owner/chef could not have been more gracious or informative. The wine pairings were smart and imaginative. One Michelin star does not do Pertinence justice. If your wallet will allow you, you MUST make Pertinence a part of your Paris experience.

Absolutely sublime. This was easily one of the best dinners of my life. Every course was spectacular and gorgeous. The atmosphere is so special - small, intimate, and elegant, yet also warm and comfortable and inviting. It is such a joy to watch two young chefs follow their dreams and execute a dining experience of this caliber. I can’t recommend it enough.

Exzellente Sterneküche, einfallsreich und mit grosser Finesse im Geschmack. Da das Restaurant sehr wenige Tische hat muss man im Vorfeld die Kreditkarte autorisieren bei Nichterscheinen wird der Betrag sonst belastet. Man sollte aber auf jeden Fall hingehen es lohnt sich. Es gibt eine sehr gute Weinkarte. Das Menü wird einheitlich für den Tisch bestellt. Pro Person sollte man mit rund 200 bis 260 Euro rechnen inklusive Getränke. Bei Extras bzw je nach Wahl des Weines sogar mehr.

J’y ai déjeuné aujourd’hui, ce fût un véritable plaisir ! Une vraie claque, des explosions de saveurs dans tous les sens ! Je recommande vivement ! Le service était au top, le champagne et le verre de rouge délicieux, le poisson avec le caviar un régal, la viande et sa sauce avec le supplément de truffes blanches trop trop bon ! J’ai tout simplement adoré, merci !

Dans ce petit restaurant blanc, nous nous sommes sentis intimes et confortables, et le service était impeccable.
Le menu du déjeuner, composé de six plats, était sublime. Le chef japonais Ryu a présenté chaque plat avec une touche asiatique.
Je pense que le Pertinence n'est pas loin de passer à 2 étoiles Michelin.

Nous avons déjeuné à trois dans ce restaurant. L'ambiance est feutrée, le service est impeccable, les plats sont délicieux et magnifiquement présentés. Nous avons passé un excellent moment en voyageant parmi les épices et les saveurs. Merci aux deux chefs. Nous allons revenir.
