Excellent food and service in a refined and historic environment. Our server assisted with wine choice and cheese selection and both times were perfect choices. A superb choice for our first night in Paris.

Our favorite restaurant in Paris. Duck and pork tenderloin were delicious, and ending with crème brûlée. Pea soup was lacking something, so that was the reason for 1 star reduction.

Maybe i had too much expectations. It was ok but it wasnt wow. Locations is very pretty.
Types of Cheese were not explained to me once served.
Creme brule wasn’t lightned up in front of me.
Prices were extremely high.
1 lt of water 7 euro? Really?

We had a lovely dinner and service and look forward to returning. I enjoyed the chilled pea soup and fish with beets for ky main dish very much. The historical building and atmosphere was very pleasant as well!

Le Coupe Chou is a good as the first time we were here in 2014. The atmosphere is amazing and the food never disappoints. I highly recommend a dinner here on your next trip to Paris.

Très déçus !
Nous sommes parisiens, et je pense qu’il faut le préciser car le restaurant est surtout rempli de touristes. Il y a vraiment mieux dans Paris.
Le cadre est atypique, certes, mais les quantités nous ont bien laissés … sur notre faim! (Filet mignon). Les plats étaient ok, mais sans plus! Le rapport qualité prix n’est pas au rendez-vous.
Peut mieux faire..

I first came to Le Coupe Chou as a student in 1970. Vivaldi’s 4 Seasons was played throughout the restaurant. The building was beautiful- so old-so authentic! We ate ratatouille after a Kir Royal served with tiny radishes and salt. I fell in love with this place and come back to eat here each time I am in Paris.
This most recent dinner didn’t disappoint! The only difference was that we were served roasted radishes as an appetizer, followed by delicious plats.

This is our second visit to Le Coupe-Chou, first of which was on our wedding night as we held our wedding dinner there. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. The food is wonderful. Every dish we ordered was top notched and delicately seasoned, maintaining its authenticity. We especially loved the escargot. Probably the best we had. We always recommend this restaurants to friends visiting Paris. A forever favorite of ours.

We love the location, the charm, and the service at this restaurant. However, I got horrible food poisoning from the meal! It made me sad because we had been to this restaurant 15 years ago and loved it and were so excited to go back. I had a tuna tartar appetizer and another fish dish for dinner. I don't know which made me sick but approximately 3 hours after the meal I was violently ill.
