Somehow it was complicated to explain what I want to order, guy who served denied to listen, and in the end they made me a bit different beagle that I wanted.
The food is ok, it’s hearty and fresh, however I found it a bit flat on taste with lack of spices.

Quel dommage !: c’est un des rares endroits où je pouvais trouver du pastrami et du pickel comme dans mon enfance,fondant dans la bouche avec cette bonne odeur si particulière et spécifique…
Changement de fournisseur, sans doute moins cher… ça n’a plus que le nom….:aucun goût, aucun fondant…
J’espère qu’ils vont revenir à la qualité d’autrefois !!!

Family-owned Jewish bakery that serves bread, sandwiches, pastry. Absolutely divine. Flavoursome with just a few ingredients. Takeaway only. I recommend the Sandwich Classic.

We were walking around South Marais and needed a refuel break. We walked in to this Yiddish deli expecting to take out and eat on the street, but were surprisingly guided to a few stools at the back. We ate a pastrami meat sandwich (what else!) in the very busy room.

Tout est succulent dans la boutique jaune.
J'y vais depuis une dizaine d'années à chaque fois que je suis en déplacement sur Paris.

Beaucoup de choix entre pâtisseries, entrées, sandwichs... La nourriture est excellente et les vendeurs sont très sympathiques. Possibilité de manger sur place dans un petit coin ou d'emporter.

good Challah and great Haman Taschen, even if they were a lot more expensive than the competition’s down the street (Murciano). there fillings were stunning, especially the fig .The lady serving is was very patient when I got confused with my french and the flavors. Easy to get in when not busy and when being told that to pay you need to go all the way to the back. I imagine it’s harder to negotiate when full.

C'est une bonne adresse pour retrouver de bons gâteaux et de la charcuterie d'Europe Centrale. J'y ai retrouvé les produits de cuisines juives que je mangeais chez mes grands parents. Le pers est accueillant et explique bien les produits.
Cependant vérifier les tickets, il y a parfois des erreurs (dans les deux sens, ????)
Ils savent rectifier et c'est très honnête.

Probably the best pastrami sandwich I’ve had. Been there 3 years ago and had to come back. Everything they sell is home made and packed with flavor. Can definitely recommend going there.

S'il y avait 10 étoiles j'en mettrais 100.
Meilleurs bagels et pain halla de tout Paris, je traverse la ville uniquement pour le caviar d'aubergine fumé! Un vrai moment de bonheur. Le service peut paraître froid de prime abord mais c'est la culture de l'Est et en discutant peu ils sont très sympathiques.
À contrario, chez Marianne en face a baissé en qualité ces dernières années. Dommage
NB: leurs sandwich du midi sont top aussi

Stroll a little further into the Marias and you’ll discover the city's most famous Jewish neighborhood, centered around Rue de Rosiers.

And Sacha Finkelsztajn is a must stop for a classic (pastrami) sandwich. Go for the poppy seed bagel and get everything on it - the flavors will surprise and delight you.

Bit cramped inside and gets busy, but your patience will pay off. Cash or card.
