500 € per night and two days in row only small towels at the room because they are out of stock, absolutely unacceptable. The room also wasn’t ready at 15.00h.

Can’t believe I debated staying here. It was truly lovely from start to finish. My room was beautiful and so comfortable. Perfect location to enjoy Paris. The rooftop bar is also as perfect as the rest of this hotel. 10/10!

I had high expectations for Hotel National des Arts et Métiers, but my experience in March 2025 was shockingly bad. Not because of the hotel's design or location, but because of the dishonest and unethical behavior of management.||For three days, my room had no hot water. I reported this immediately, the hotel sent technicians and yet it was never fixed. The management admitted fault, blamed it being a Paris issue and an old building and promised compensation for the inconvenience. At the time, they seemed professional and understanding.||However, once I checked out and followed up to ensure they honored their promise, everything changed. They denied the issue was ongoing and said it was fixed immediately despite clearly acknowledging it during my stay. This was blatant gaslighting and an attempt to make me question a very real and frustrating experience.||When I persisted, politely and professionally, they went so far as to accuse me of "harassment" for simply holding them accountable.||This is beyond poor customer service. It's deception and a complete lack of integrity. A hotel that can't provide basic amenities like hot water and then lies about it is bad enough. But to gaslight guests and weaponize false accusations to avoid responsibility is disgraceful.||There are many wonderful hotels in Paris where guests are treated with honesty and respect. Unfortunately, this is not one of them. I strongly advise future travelers to think twice before booking here.

No Hot Water, Lying Managers, and Gaslighting – Avoid This Hotel!

Avoid Hotel National des Arts et Métiers at all costs. During my stay in March 2025, my room had no hot water, an unacceptable issue for any hotel, let alone one at this price point.

When I raised the problem, the management assured me it would be resolved and sent technicians but it was never resolved. At check out the manager had even promised compensation for the inconvenience. I trusted his word. But after I checked out, the hotel management reneged on everything.

Worse yet, when I followed up professionally, they gaslighted me, claiming the issue was fixed and that the manager never promised me compensation happened! To top it off, they accused me of "harassment" simply because I expected them to honor their promises.

This hotel may look nice on the outside, but behind the facade is a management team that is dishonest, unprofessional, and disrespectful to guests. If you value basic amenities like hot water and expect not to be lied to, stay elsewhere.

My wife and I really loved the location of this hotel and the convenience of it being near a lot of great shops and restaurants. However, the experience was marred by the hotel staff and their policies.||||When we first arrived, we were coldly addressed and provided no information about our accommodations. We were just given keys and left to figure everything out. This usually isn't a big deal and on its own, isn't something that would make me annoyed. However, every subsequent encounter continued to indicate that the staff was simply disinterested in helping.||||When we asked for water, the front desk was confused and punted us to the restaurant, where the waitress expressed annoyance and reluctantly provided us with water.||||When we asked for a power adapter (every other hotel on our trip was happy to accommodate, free of charge), the front desk said we needed to pay 12 euros.||||When we asked if we could borrow an umbrella (there were a ton), the front desk's first response was essentially "that's not our job."||||I don't know if I've ever been to a hotel where I had such a poor experience with the front desk. Hopefully this was just an isolated experience because the hotel is otherwise in a great location and the rooms are spacious.
