On m’avait chaudement recommandé ce restaurant, j’avoue avoir été déçue par la cuisine.
Rien à dire sur l’attente, n’ayant pas de réservation, la manager nous avait prévenu qu’il y aurait de l’attente nous avons donc fait le choix de rester quand même. Bravo à elle qui doit supporter le monde et le mécontentement des clients.
Service rapide et impeccable. Les serveurs étaient tops. Belle carte des pastis c’est intéressant.
Maintenant en ce qui concerne la nourriture franchement il y a un effort à faire. Entrées trop cuites, plats peu assaisonnés et peu savoureux, desserts corrects mais sans plus.

This was our second visit in 12 months (from Australia). Our first visit was a walk up. For this visit we booked and had no idea that we had to queue with ‘walk ups’ and felt we were spoken to quite abruptly without explanation.

Chez Janou provided us an ideal and delicious Parisian dining experience. The service was very accommodating as we had a baby with us and a friend who arrived extremely late to the reservation. The host is a character in himself and is typical French.. but charming. The waitresses were knowledgeable, kind and attentive. The food was excellent! We had the magret and entrecôte, which were perfectly cooked and seasoned to our tastes. The deserts were generously portioned so we recommend sharing one if you’re already full from the entree. Highly recommend this place!!

Great energy and vibe of the place, unfortunately the food does not do anything. Poorly cooked entrecôte, no flavor. The Rue de Canard was disappointing as well.

The only problem I had was that I was shoved into a seat right next to the kitchen and bread slicer. Too hectic to completely enjoy my meal, but on the flip side, there was always someone nearby for service. Loved the kale chicken salad and the chocolate mousse!

We visited Chez Janou after seeing several recommendations on Instagram, but unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the hype.
The starters were served quickly, which gave us a good first impression. However, the main courses took over 40 minutes to arrive. When I asked to cancel them because we had to leave, the waitress responded with unacceptable rudeness, saying, “How should I know you’ve finished your starters? It’s not my fault there are too many people.”
The tone was dismissive and unprofessional. There was no apology or attempt to make things right.
Sadly, the overall experience was disappointing — nothing special in terms of food, and certainly not worth the attitude. We came with high expectations, but left feeling disrespected.

We booked way in advance and havé to settle for a 10pm boooking which was fine for us . There was ambience , the staff was professional and friendly and the food was really good .

I found out about this place because my teenage daughters saw the mousse on tik tok. I have to be honest- I had low expectations. But, wow- the food was some of my favorite in Paris. I'd recommend the mussels, chickpea fries, ratatouille, cheeses and all the desserts they had. (and yes- the mousse). But, eat the dinner- it's fantastic!

很可爱的一家小馆子，装饰的非常有特色，空间一如既往的局促（非常的巴黎特色），服务生会把桌子搬起来让客人落座，我倒是觉得蛮有趣的。
菜品很不错，分量不算很大，但口味很好，配合上店家附送的法棍，可以把盘子吃的干干净净。
巧克力慕斯是一个超大的坛子里现舀，小姐姐非常大方，会结结实实的擓一大大大大大勺放到盘子里，细节方面也做的很好，两个人点一份甜品的话，会注意提供两只小勺供分享（我知道其它馆子也会做，但并不是所有的餐厅都这么贴心）
结账的时候还会问吃的是否满意，听到满意回答会露出非常灿烂的笑容，回复“你们也很热情开朗”。
性价比蛮高，地理位置也很好

We wanted to go since we read many positive reviews about it. The overall experience was good. However, we found the food to be basic with the exception of the chocolate mousse which was amazing. We arrived there at 7pm and we were told that there was a 1,5 hour wait so we sat down at around 8:30pm. There were lots of tourists.

Diner for 1! I could sit at the bar and ordered friture de petit poissons, crispy! Next to that I ordered the Magret de canard au romarin. Taste was great! The potatoes and garlic cloves made the dish ????
