We sought a table at Frenchie because it was highlighted in a TV series in Australia by one of our very best chefs, Parisian Guillaume Brahimi. It did not disappoint. Discovering what chef and his team prepared for us in each course was a delight. Explosions of intense flavour in sometimes unexpected but sublime combinations; contrasting textures and enticing fragrances. Then there were the wines. We chose the premium package and the matching was perfection. Thank you all for such a splendid evening. Wish I lived on Rue du Nil.

Imagine rediscovering your Mom’s worst kitchen experiments? That was the tomato sorbet with foam! Reminded me of my Mom’s tomato aspic, only chilled. The two highlights were the chicken and lobster. Otherwise, the food was especially bland and the dishes were unbalanced. A good example involves the chicken. The salty chicken was good but paired with an overly sweet date and apple sauce combo. My wife and I laughed when the dinner started saying “Predict the foam and the smeerings across the plate!” See, we have been to this sort of dinner with Thomas Keller, Graham Elliot and Gordon Ramsay. The genre has grown tired with us. To us, the foam is not food. Finally, all the sauces! Only one - for the chicken - actually tasted like anything. It was shocking because of the waitress’ descriptions of capers and fennel and all sorts of flavors. But for us, the sauces did nothing for the dishes. I am an experienced cook and do all the cooking in my house. Last night was a disappointment on many levels. We hate to see people pay so much money for the hype only to be disappointed.

There is no question that is a one-star Michelin restaurant. My wife and I frequent Michelin rated restaurants and the service strongly aligns with its rating. The food does somewhat lack for our personal desire of flavors but does showcase the chef's creativity and pushing the boundaries of typical dishes with unique fusions that highlight different culture. It was not a bad experience and glad we booked this reservation but after one visit I do not foresee our return notably due to the vast array of options Paris has to offer. Overall, Frenchie did not blow us away but it was certainly intriguing and a memorable experience.

Excellent resto.
Cuisine intime et personnelle, inspirante, originale mélange de saveurs, de consistance. Assiette très soignée et toujours surprenante. La succession de plat nous étonne, le vin aussi, le service est adorable et détaille les mets en servant les sauces délicieuses qui accompagnent les plats. Les menus changent donc on reviendra avec plaisir. La salle est petite donc il faut anticiper la resa. Frenchie se mérite ! Bravo au chef et à son équipe de choc ❤️

J’ai été vraiment conquis par votre proposition. Malgré la chaleur trop étouffante à mon goût, j’ai adoré ce voyage qui m’a permis de découvrir votre univers. Franchement tout était parfait : des amuses bouches aux différents plats en passant par le service, tout était excellent.

This was my fathers first Michelin experience . I could not have asked for a better experience for him. He was glowing. Alexandria , Amy , Megan and staff were so warm and welcoming. They made the night such a delight.
Food was amazing of course! Lobster and Tuna dishes were out of this world, as were the other dishes.
Thank you so much for your kindness. We will cherish this night forever <3
