Hôtel de la Place du Louvre. August 18, 2023. I decided to cancel due to the dangerous oppressive Paris heat, Covid & other diseases running through France & Europe, the threat of strikes & riots in Paris, plus the whole city goes on their own vacation(holiday) during the month of August, so many places are closed all month. The hotel refused to give me a full refund. I will never spend my money to stay in this hotel from now on. They were inconsiderate. My health & safety were of no concern to them. I am sure they rented the room, so they received my rent & rented it out again, earning twice the amount of money for the night's cancellation fee. That's what I call greedy. I rescheduled my Paris trip to September, but I refused to stay at this money grubbing hotel ????! A different hotel will get my money in September & may become my Paris go to hotel from now on. This is what happens when businesses are inflexible & inconsiderate: they lose future business!

This small friendly hotel is in the perfect location for exploring Paris, right by the Louvre museum and Pont Neuf.
Rooms are lovely and very quiet with generous free tea and coffee makers and a great wet room shower.
Staff are very friendly and helpful, highly recommended.
