Nice, solid hotel. Friendly staff. No frills, but that's OK. They have a small back garden for breakfast, but it was too cold to go out there.

Really had a great stay. The location was so great that we kept going back to take a little break (with coffee n pastry in the lobby) and then go back out to sightsee again. The hospitality of the hotel extends to its sister hotels throughout the city - we had access to bathrooms and places to take a break. We liked the breakfast buffet. It was a great value to get a balanced breakfast before starting out. The people and the reception have been very helpful and welcoming. I would stay here again.

Chambre propre ! Et petit déjeuner assez charmant aussi ! Mais il ne vaux pas 4 étoiles...l'accueil à était bâclé et la salles de bain était à refaire... on entend tout ce qu'il ce passe autour... Bon sinon cela reste un endroit quand même assez reposant et agréable

Cozy hotel in the heart of Paris next door to the Louvre. You feel more like guests in a home than customers of a hotel. Everyone was warm, friendly and eager to please. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! The rooms were clean, well equipped, and honestly larger than I expected. The breakfast was outstanding as well. I will say partly in response to some of the more negative reviews: this is a small hotel. The hallways, stairs, and elevator are narrow. Keep that in mind if you have physical limitations. Otherwise, enjoy the charm of this wonderful hotel!

This hotel is in the perfect location for discovering everything in Paris. Right next door to the Louvre and easy, flat walking to most major sights as well as very close to the metro if walking isn’t your thing. Rooms are compact but exceptionally clean and wonderfully comfortable bed.| Every single member of staff couldn’t be more friendly, polite or helpful. Really exceptional customer care from the whole team. Great buffet breakfast to set you up for the day and complimentary coffee and cake every afternoon when you return from your day of sight seeing. |Paris hotels are expensive as you would imagine in a major city but Hotel Place de Louvre is a great price for the fabulous location and would definitely recommend to anyone wishing for a clean, comfortable and friendly stay in central Paris offering good value for your money.

The hotel room pictures were clearly not taken from this hotel. Very disapointed with our room, which had a bathroom and an a weird loft for a table&chair up very uncomfortable, narrow and steep stairs. I wonder if those are even legal. The bathroom door did not close, it kept dragging on the floor and chipping. There was no shower, you had to shower by kneeling in a bathtub due to the fact that the bathroom was so low above the tub. The lift was out of order one day so we had to walk to up to the 5th floor. We had booked two rooms and the other room was clearly bigger. When mentioning these things to the manager she said our room gets clearly the most feedback (well, no wonder) and that we would get a different room on next stay. Obviously there will not be a next stay. The only good thing was the location.

This hotel is a gem. Like a previous reviewer, I did a lot of research on Paris hotels and couldn’t have chosen better for our four night stay. The location is superb and the staff very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable and well appointed. There are free snacks and drinks in the lobby and coffee machines and kettles in the rooms. I will definitely stay here on future visits.

I cannot say enough about this hotel. I did a lot of research on hotels in Paris, and I kept coming back to this one. Our stay was absolutely amazing. The location is perfect, across from the Louvre. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The lobby has free water and ice, croissants. They have family games to borrow, and umbrellas for those romantic occasions of rainy Paris days. The rooms were lovely, very comfortable, quiet and roomy for a European hotel. Including a small bar fridge with water, Coke and a small wine and champagne, plus a tray of chips/crisps and a small Toblerone.||The cleaning staff were exceptional, quick, thorough and efficient, never missed a single detail . We had a two room unit and the set up was perfect. There is a main door that leads to two full bedrooms. There is a menu for a breakfast for delivery to your room for a time of your choosing for the next morning (we didn’t use this service, so I cannot comment) which I thought was an amazing offering since there is no restaurant on site. There is also a computer and printer in the lobby, we didn’t need it, but good to know it was there if we did. ||We did eat at the cafe on the opposite side of the building, called Cafe du Arts facing the Siene and the world famous bouquinistes “green boxes” for unique shopping, also made this location spectacular.||I will recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Paris. You will not be disappointed.

I recently stayed at Hotel de la Place du Louvre and had an outstanding experience.

The hotel is beautifully maintained—very clean, quiet, and perfectly located near many top attractions and fantastic restaurants.

The staff is truly exceptional; Ajmal, Brauyant, Cylannie, and the rest of the team made our stay memorable with their warm hospitality and attention to detail.

Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Paris!

The hotel is in the center of Paris making it a great place to stay. Everything is within walking distance. The hotel staff are very welcoming, and have your best interests in heart. It was our first stay in Paris and they gave us such a great experience. The staff really care about their guests and love to get to know you in a deeper level. I would choose this hotel over and over again if I ever get the opportunity to visit again.

We had a bright cozy room with a side view of the Louvre. We liked waking up there ???? The room is a good size for a city hotel , though the bathroom was quite small. The staff on reception throughout our stay were all friendly and very helpful. The honesty bar was not in operation at the time. It is 2 minutes walk from the Louvre, the river ( views of the Eiffel Tower) , Samaratain department store, and other high end shops close by. Notre Dame is about 15 mins walk.

Feels like home!
We stayed for 4 days. Location is across street from Louvre which is super convenient. Staff was very friendly and thoughtful. Room was cozy with bath tube.
Breakfast was high quality in a underground cafe.
Interior is a bit outdated but for the price and everything above, I recommend it!

I highly recommend this hotel. We were here for a business event (and spent one night for business in March as well) - and I only have good feedback to share. The staff was great and fast responding on any request, always with a smile on their face. The rooms were very clean and the ones with cathedral view are just fantastic. A small classy hotel, set up in the perfect location - central but yet quiet. Will definitely come back.

I was on a business trip and spent one personal day in Paris. I so enjoyed my stay at this hotel! The hotel has a lot of charm and is unique in many ways. It was in close proximity to restaurants, shopping and various sites (Notre Dame) as well as to the metro. The room was very quaint and very, very clean. I had all the amenities that I needed for my stay. Love a room with a shower that has really hot water, reliable internet, air conditioning, and a plug in the bathroom!!! My room had an amazing view of the church next door. While the room was bit small (would have been a bit tight with more than one large suitcase), the bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and I felt very welcomed. I would stay here again and recommend.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is in close proximity to shopping, restaurants, and other tourist attractions as well as the metro and bus lines. The hotel was clean and very quaint. I had a lovely view of the church right outside my hotel room . While the room was a little bit on the small side, I had all the amenities that I needed. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rates were a little bit higher due to the upcoming Olympics, but overall it was a good value for the money. I would definitely stay here again!

Honeymoon perfection.

The location was absolutely amazing, first off - but a Google map search can tell you that.

What I really loved is the room and our experience with the hotel itself. It hit a sweet spot in terms of being intimate without being invasive, charming without being antiquated.

We got the suite, on the theory that, hey - you only honeymoon once, may as well do it right. And while our room isn't particularly huge, the bathroom is ginormous, and our room definitely isn't cramped... I feel like the upgrade was definitely worth it.

There's someone on duty at the front desk 24/7, and while a lot of places say that, they often mean someone's available 24/7, but might not actually be awake or around. Not the case here. Every time I've headed out or come back, no matter how late, someone has been there - which is awfully handy.

If I can ever afford another trip to Paris, the Relais de Louvre would be my first choice. Only reason I might consider somewhere else would be so I could explore a different region of Paris on foot; the location is so convenient we've pretty much walked everywhere.

Highly recommend.

2024 update - it's our anniversary, so we came back - every bit as amazing as the first time. Charming hotel with delightful, friendly staff. A highlight of my time in Paris.

A great family friendly hotel in the heart of Paris a stone's throw from the Louvre. All staff were friendly from the offset. The rooms were cleaned well and restocked. The great location meant we were close to restaurants, boulangeries and the metro line. We had a great stay here and would recommend.

We went twice, the hotel location is amazing, centrally located, minuted away from everything.
the staff at the reception always smiling and super friendly and helpful. We were staying in the duplex room on the fifth floor which is quiet an experience. The size of the room is average compared to rooms in Paris.
Their breakfast buffet has a good variety.
