The restaurant was pretty but kinda small so it felt like too close to the other tables.
Disappointed is an understatement. Booked for 6 for the occasion of my birthday and upon arrival I was informed that there was no record of my reservation. You can imagine their surprise when I presented the maître d with an email from the restaurant confirming such (see attached). Mistakes happen, that’s understood, but rather than take ownership of their mistake, I was blamed and offered no solution. Saturday night in Paris is not the best time for finding another restaurant willing to take a walk in for six ! We looked for hours and hours (in the rain) for another restaurant.
Poulette definitely lost six customers and given the experience, I won’t shy away from telling people to avoid at all costs!
