Tout était beau de la vaisselle aux plats.
Une belle carte des vins et surtout des softs (le kombucha figue était léger et peu sucré et était très agréable).
Un quasi sans faute sauf pour la viande qui était bonne mais un peu nervurée ce qui est dommage vu le niveau proposé.
Le dessert est sans doute l’un des meilleurs que j’ai mangé. J’ai apprécié que la pavlova sorte de son aspect traditionnel en étant déstructurée et avec des combinaisons audacieuses mais que malgré tout il y ait un rappel à la structure classique du dessert.
Je recommande grandement.

I would like to clarify that I never received any free birthday drink during my visit. At no point was I informed about such a gesture, nor was any drink offered to me free of charge.

I had a very disappointing experience at La Scène Thélème, and I feel it’s important to share what happened – 【especially for non-French visitors】.
During my lunch, no wine menu was shown. The waiter simply asked if I wanted wine, without any mention of price, quantity, or options. I assumed it was a part of the menu. At the end, I was shocked to find €43 added to the bill just for wine I never knowingly ordered at that price.
What upset me most is the strong feeling that I was treated this way because I’m a foreigner. It seemed like the staff assumed I was rich, didn’t need price details, and would just accept whatever was brought to the table. This kind of stereotyping and lack of transparency is not acceptable in any restaurant – and especially not at a Michelin-starred one.
I’ve dined at many high-end restaurants in France and have never experienced such a lack of respect or clarity.
I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously. Transparency and equal treatment are the minimum every guest deserves – regardless of nationality.
