This was another gem I found in Paris. The owner, the food, the wines.. will remain etched in my memory forever. The lamb, escargots, and the desert was my favorite.

The food was decent, the service was very good the man who served us was lovely. But we waited tooo long for the food. I had the duck and was disappointed that it was too cooked that it was hard to chew, duck is supposed to be rosé unless the client prefers other wise. But the sauce (jus) was good. And the dessert was nice too, it was a Black Forest ( revisité )

12euros le verre de rouge.
“Légumes de saison du marché” faut pas abuser. 100euros a deux pour 2 plats 1 desserts et 3 verres de vin. Ça pique un peu.

Was recommended by a friend, I couldn’t be more grateful! This was one of the most wonderful meals I’ve had in quite a long time. The owner was an absolute gem, incredibly friendly, sweet and had phenomenal wine recommendations. The food was absolutely unbeatable as well. There is no where that I could recommend more than this, the duck, beef stew and 7 hour lamb shank are must tries!

The staff was so helpful with catering to my diet! The food was fantastic and my stomach feels so good after eating here. I let them know I have Chrones and I’m GF, as I don’t think many people know what ulcerative colitis is here. The staff brought me the Cod fish on rice in a hollandaise like sauce. While I omitted most of the sauce due to the paprika burn, the fish was so well seasoned and perfectly cooked! My partner enjoyed the Coq au van, and we shared escargot. Let the staff choose your wine pairings like we did, and you won’t be disappointed!

A magnifique little place! I believe the owner was taking care of everyone in the place. He was wonderfully hospitable for my partner and I even though our French was poor/non-existent. It made us feel very comfortable

The food was perfect and everything from the escargot to the coq au vin was delicious, and the wine that was paired with both dishes was well selected and wonderful as well.

Can’t wait to return!

We would recommend this restaurant in a heartbeat. Very French experience and yet warm and welcoming. Amazing restaurant ran by a very nice and HONEST couple. The food tastes even better. Great selection of wine.
We dined here and the restaurant was full and we were served appropriately.

We went to Vie D’Ange for the first time 3 years ago and have been back two more times since. Small and cozy, the food selection is small but superb, the owner has a great selection of wines and can recommend the best food and wine pairing. This is a small jewel! We love it

Delicious food and warm hospitality made for a delightful dinner with my husband. The owner greeted us warmly, friendly introduced the dishes, and entertained us with a great sense of humor—it felt like dining at a friend’s house, relaxed and cozy. While the serving pace may not be as fast as a large restaurant, it was filled with warmth and personal touch.

We ordered the onion tart, scallops, veal with mushroom cream source, crème brûlée, and apple tart. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, very delicious. The wine recommended by the owner paired perfectly with the meal, making it an experience worth savoring.

Difficile de mettre un avis négatif sur ce restaurant car le patron a le sens de l'accueil et une belle carte de vins. Néanmoins, quelques remarques s'imposent afin d'éclairer les futurs clients. Tout d'abord le prix des plats pour un restaurant de quartier est excessif dans un cadre quelconque : à titre d'exemples souris d'agneau à 30€, les étoiles de Compostelle (noix de saint jacques et riz noir) à 32€. Soit les vins proposés par le patron sont bons et se marient agréablement avec les plats mais encore une fois à 9€ le verre dans un endroit sans prétention, cela me paraît démesuré. Dommage de profiter de la proximité du Marriott pour pratiquer des prix "attrape touriste".
Dernier point et non des moindres : un verrou sur la porte des toilettes ainsi que du savon sont toujours utiles pour le confort des clients.

Très bon restaurant ! Les viandes sont excellentes, les recettes raffinées et le service impeccable. Et pourtant, le jour où nous sommes venu, il n'y avait qu'une seule personne pour s'occuper de tout le monde. Chapeau !

Accueil très amical, cuisine savoureuse avec des produits de grande qualité, vin conseillé absolument parfait, le tout dégusté au son de quelques notes de jazz bienvenues.
A peine a-t-on fini le repas, que l'on a envie de retourner à table...

Ambiance familiale mais cuisine de caractère pour ce très sympathique restaurant de quartier, qu’il faut impérativement essayer si vous êtes de passage dans le 14e. Jolie vitrine de vins dont quelques références pointues, choisies avec beaucoup de goût par le patron qui sait en parler avec passion !
