Du côté de Bastille, l'izakaya Jinchan Shokudo propose le meilleur de la cuisine populaire japonaise dans une ambiance rétro, décontractée et conviviale. À la carte des donburi tels que le chicken katsudon, poulet frit karaage, des tempura ou encore des nouilles soba … à accompagner de bières et sakés japonais ! Une cuisine traditionnelle de saison entièrement fait maison, à partir de produits soigneusement sourcés en circuit-court en France et au Japon. Sur place avec ou sans réservation, à emporter ou en livraison !

Had dinner at this cozy Japanese izakaya in Paris. The vibe is spot-on lanterns, vintage posters, and shelves lined with sake bottles give it an authentic, energetic feel. They’ve got some great Japanese beers too tried the Isekado Gohan Lager and the Sakekasu Hazy IPA. Both worth a sip.
The food was a bit hit-and-miss for me. The shiitake mushrooms and chicken donburi were both too salty, which threw off the balance of otherwise nicely cooked dishes. On the flip side, the poulpe salad was fresh and well-seasoned, and the black sesame ice cream (no photo, sorry!) was a great way to end the meal nutty, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet.
I do appreciate the quality of the ingredients and the effort in presentation. With a few tweaks on seasoning, this place could easily hit higher marks. For now, a fair 3.5/5.

Malgré ça on a décidé d'essayer les autres options. On a commandé le thon mi cuit et les frites de patate douce. Le thon était très bon, les frites mauvaises.
On a commandé aussi deux cocktails. Très cher pour la quantité servie.
