Un hôtel parfait, très central (dans un quartier très agréable et vivant, plein de jolies boutiques et de restaurants), des chambres extrêmement propres et silencieuses (rare à Paris!), un petit déjeuner varié et copieux (viennoiseries, pain frais, pancakes, fruits, fromages, céréales...) et un personnel très gentil et disponible. Nous avons fait un voyage de groupe (nous étions une dizaine) et nous avons pris plusieurs chambres. Tout était parfait. Impossible je pense de trouver mieux pour ce prix à Paris. Merci à toute l'équipe pour votre disponibilité et votre patience avec notre groupe!

Not worth the price.
The room was not clean upon arrival—there were stains on the sheets and dust everywhere. When we asked for housekeeping, they took hours to respond. Definitely expected more for the rate we paid.

I do not recommend staying here during your time in Paris.
Our experience was disappointing. For two full days, the entire hotel was without hot water—none of the guests were able to shower during that time. Early each morning, we had to listen to other guests shouting over the phone, demanding a solution.
While some guests were offered free breakfast as compensation, this was not extended to everyone. When we raised our concerns, the staff refused to offer any form of compensation. One of the night staff even remarked that we should have complained earlier, which was both unhelpful and unprofessional.
Overall, the reception staff were inattentive and dismissive throughout our stay.

Ótimo hotel no 11e. Rodeado de ótimas opções para café da manhã, alimentação, passeios, estações de metrô, etc.||Recepção sempre simpática, a toda hora. Elevador funcionando, lobby, e café da manhã pago a parte.||O quarto era de um tamanho razoável, mas não apertado. Janela grande pra rua, mas sem muito barulho. Aquecimento bom, cama confortáve.||O banheiro está novo, tudo funciona, mas o tamanho do box pode ser um problema para algumas pessoas, realmente é bem apertado.

Travelled from Canada and stayed at Hotel Verlain for 6 nights. We arrived early from the airport and were greeted very nicely from the front counter staff who let us check in early. We had a room on the 4th floor with a street view, quiet area with Metro Lines real close as well as pubs and restaurants. I would recommend staying here, it worked out well for my wife and myself. Many day trips from here with ease.

Everything about this hotel was wonderful. The front desk staff was excellent, the room was clean, housekeeping was equally as excellent. The location is close to everything including several metro stations. We had a balcony, it was quite nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

First time staying at the Hotel Verlain and honestly couldn't fault it at all! Rooms were clean and tidy (yes, small but that didn't matter at all) and room service was amazing. Staff on the front desk were polite, helpful and friendly.
The king size bed was SUPER comfy, with lovely soft bedding and comfy pillows.
The hotel was in a good district which felt safe and was just a 10 minute walk from the nearest metro. Some noise out on the street at night from happy and exuberant people but that's not anything the hotel can do about!
All in all, really very impressed with the Hotel Verlain and would definitely recommend it to others when visiting Paris.

+ : Prix intéressant pour Paris (en réservant sur Internet, si non aux prix affichés pas intéressant) et localisation proche de République, à 2 pas du métro. Literie confortable. Personnel agréable et souriant. Check in et out faciles.

Cómo se dice en España: Bueno, bonito y barato.
Acabo de estar 4 noches en Paris con mi pareja y el Hotel Verlain ha sido un buen hotel donde alojarnos.
La habitación era limpia, los muebles sin dudas no son modernos pero ha sido más que funcional para lo que necesitamos, lo único que puedo comentar para mejorar es que las habitaciones no están bien insonorizadas, para nosotros no fue un problema porque no tenemos problemas con el sueño, pero es algo que puede ser importante para quien tenga dificultades.
La posición es muy buena, la calle es tranquila con metro cerca, hay supermercados cerca, buenas boulangeries donde desayunar y algún buen restaurante a pocos metros.
El personal ha sido súper amable en todos momentos y siempre disponible (hay recepción 24 horas).

I forgot my electric toothbrush at the hotel during a business trip. After calling the reception and having confirmed it was there, the concierge refused to open the door and give my toothbrush back. I’m sincerely disappointed in the hospitality of Hôtel Verlain.

Incredible stay with amazing concierges. The location is the best part with many nearby restaurants, bakeries, and more. It was also very easy getting all over Paris from here as there are many bus stops and train stations nearby, super convenient

Habitación pequeña pero limpia y muy tranquila. Muy bien equipada. En recepción la gente es muy amable y colaboraron con todo lo posible. La ubicación no es la mejor, pero así y todo está muy bien comunicado con transporte público y la zona es tranquila y bien equipada. Buena relación calidad precio en fechas complicadas.

On top of that, as the walls are super thin, we were woken up at 6am by another guest screaming to the hotel staff demanding a solution.
We had a very bad time.
