The best meal we had in Paris. The steak was outstanding, and the octopus carpaccio truly unforgettable. I dare anyone to try their classic vol-au-vent de ris de veau aux champignons—a rich sweetbread dish that’s both traditional and bold. A small tip: avoid our faux-pas—women sit on the bench, men take the chairs. The owner, Bertrand Auboyneau, and his wife are fully present and working the floor with care. We even saw a waitress gently teach a guest how to reveal the heart of an artichoke. We hope to visit this establisment again, wishing them all the best!

The food was delicious and it was one of the better dining experiences I’ve had. Tons of tourists (myself included) but we arrived early for lunch on a Saturday (12) and got seated instantly. Service was great!

L’adresse est incontournable dans le quartier.

Les habitués et la jeunesse étrangère fréquentent régulièrement ce bistro que l’on ne présente plus (ils ont même sorti un livre de recette - disponible à la FNAC) !

Les plats sont très bons, les desserts exquis et la carte des vins permet de se faire plaisir.

La salle est d’époque et permet de se plonger dans l’atmosphère d’un bistro typique.

Le rapport qualité/prix est un peu élevé, ce qui peut freiner.

The veal kidneys smelled bad, tasted worse, and ultimately made me feel terrible — sending me straight to the bathroom with food poisoning. Thankfully, Paris is full of excellent bistros where you can enjoy traditional cuisine without risking your health. There are far better places to choose from
