A charming unpretentious interior awaits you with all the cutlery you need in a drawer at your table. After a small discussion about wine we ordered the recommendation.
The appetisers were incredible sized. You could have them for a starter if there was something you preferred. We opted for the beef tartar and the crab beignet. Both were wonderfully presented and tasted amazing.
I went for the veal sweetbreads, accompanied with a smoked eel purée, bitter leaves and purslane. They were definitely the best sweetbreads I’ve had and will be thinking about them for a while. Light, delicate and wonderfully prepared. A joy to eat from start to finish.
We finished with a dessert wine and a coffee. Too full to go for the selection of desserts they had on offer.
