Pickled Herring and baba a rhum used to be my favourites .. now the soufflé and monkfish are on my list too. Their wines are delicious too .
Overall my favourite place in Paris.
Shout out to Ariane, hostess with the mostes❤️

In general we have eaten in a much better places at a much better price. Nothing was worth to write home about. The place had a bad smail and to be honest since we had reservations we stayed. For strters we ordered the Saint Jacques and the de foie Gras. The saint Jacques were nice but small, and covered with ridiculous burned green onions leaves which luck any estatics. The foie gras was so thin that we could hardly taste it and it was half worm half cold....still I'm not sure how was it supposed to be. The two mail dishes we ordered the turbot and the supreme de pintade. The first was nice the latter was horrible. The food was not cold but is wasn't hot either, it was simple and definitely did not worth 120 errors.

We had a disappointing meal here on Friday evening. We had been to this restaurant a few times over 30 years, and was hoping it was as good as in the past. Unfortunately, that was not the case. First we weee seated upstairs, despite our reservation made weeks in advance. Second the service was extremely slow, like they had forgotten we were there. My steak au poive was too rare (I ordered it medium rare) and so tough. The potatoes were delicious balls of mashed potatoes crisped. My first course was asparagus and it was delicious. We had the baba rhum for dessert and it was just so so. Overall, a disappointing meal. Our waiter was charming and polite.

It was our favorite meal when we stayed this time around. I wish we had saved room for the chocolate soufflé. Everything was lovely from the start to the service. It has a superior neighborhood vibe without being pretentious. Tableside service for each dish. They checked on us several times. Loved it!

Wonderful experience! My wife and I really enjoyed our meals at Astier. We both got their monkfish and it was so good! It was prepared perfectly and combined with a light creamy sauce that complimented the taste of the fish with out overpowering it. Both desert's were also delicious and the wine made the whole evening that much more fun. If you haven't been, I would highly recommend you RSVP for a dinner at Astier!

The frogs legs were wonderful as were the main courses. Each dish was carefully prepared and presented. The service was attentive and professional. Astier is a wonderful jewel in the 11th. Merci beaucoup.

Ancien bistrot, déco sympa...
Délicieuses entrées (coquilles St-Jacques et cuisses de grenouilles-purée de brocolis), puis quasi de veau-petits pois et demi-pigeonneau, tout aussi avenants.
Belle assiette de fromages (à choisir) pour deux
Vins à la hauteur, haut-médoc, côtes du Rhône méridional et chemin blanc...
Service très sympathique.
Note malgré tout un petit peu élevée !

This dinner at ASTIER was a fabulous evening with our kids and granddaughters.
The food was top notch and something on the menu for all of us individually!
The staff was very accommodating and made it a great night. The cheese plate was a great ending for our one granddaughter that looked forward to trying new cheeses. Thank you ASTIER,

Belle ambiance enjouée de bistrot parisien.
Les classiques sont maîtrisés, gourmands, joliment présentés et délicieux :
Saint-Jacques rôties en coquilles au beurre de sarrazin, poireaux fondants (bon avec bel accompagnement)
Cuisses de grenouilles en persillade, mousseline de brocolis (une persillade plus musclée aurait été une merveille)
Pavlova à la mangue, glace mascarpone, coulis de fruits rouges et chantilly (généreuse)

We had a WONDERFUL dinner. The food and service were excellent. We were a big group and the maitre' d' was patient and so funny about it all. We felt welcome, included, heard, and left full! I highly recommend Astier!

A dream of a bistrot. One might have fresh, delicious oysters with a shallot vinaigrette or cured mackerel to start; and then a flawless steak au poivre with the French version of tater tots, or a guinea fowl suprême with bacon and mushrooms, and Astier’s take on dauphinoise; and perhaps a chocolate soufflé with just a touch of lime zest or their legendary Baba to finish.

From the little pâté they give you as an amuse bouche to the last scrape of the soufflé ramekin, it is all absolutely magnificent, the kind of meal that becomes almost tragic because you realise it must eventually end. The servers make you feel like you’re coming back to your mum’s house for some much needed tenderness, and are excellent guides—if you go alone and as such are probably not ordering multiple mains, you’ll have some difficult choices.

I think the suprême is the best in Paris, possibly France, possibly the world. It’s natural to eat it and cry. With a glass of the cote du rhone (a lovely €9) it’s one of the greatest lunches to be had. And, somehow, I’ve never had trouble getting a table.

Très bon restaurant dans un décor d’ancienne brasserie où viennent une clientèle mélangée entre les habitants du quartier et les touristes. Il vaut mieux réserver pour savourer une bonne cuisine . On recommande le soufflé au chocolat, les huîtres , les quenelles de dorade. Le service est aussi professionnel que sympathique.

Chers habitants d'Astier, nous avons passé un merveilleux repas dans votre restaurant. Mais ce ne sont pas seulement les plats qui étaient authentiques, mais aussi l'atmosphère et l'apparence... loin de l'agitation et du bon vieux temps. Un merci spécial à Mme Caroline qui nous a servi avec chaleur et hospitalité. 5 étoiles ça vaut largement le coup.
