L'HÔTEL DU CHÂTEAU LÉOGNAN

Our stay at Château Léognan was truly exceptional and a highlight of our trip. The property itself is absolutely stunning, with a serene and beautiful setting surrounded by vineyards. What sets it apart is the incredible variety of accommodations they offer, from their charming hotel rooms to a unique glamping experience with luxurious tents and even treehouses. The perfect combination of comfort and nature.

Their on-site restaurant was equally impressive, offering delicious meals that showcase the local produce and perfectly complement the estate's own wines. Speaking of wine, Château Léognan produces some truly remarkable wines that reflect the care and craftsmanship that goes into every aspect of the property.

The location is ideal for wine lovers, as it's in close proximity to many of the main château wine houses in the region, Carbonnieux, Haut-Brion, Haut Smith Lafitte. This made it easy for us to explore the best of Bordeaux’s wine offerings.

The owners, Chantelle and Philippe, have created something truly special here. Their story of discovering this property in need of attention and transforming it into the beautiful estate it is today is truly inspiring. They have poured their hearts into the estate, and it shows in every corner. They were so warm and welcoming, and it was a pleasure to hear their journey. Walking through the grounds, it was easy to see the love and care that has gone into every detail.

A special shout-out to Giles, the concierge, who was incredibly helpful, offering fantastic recommendations that enhanced our stay even further. The entire staff was attentive and made us feel right at home.

All in all, it was an incredible visit, and we can’t wait to return to this magical place!

I went there for wine tasting and had a lovely experience. The tour was handled by Michelle who turned out to be very knowledgable and passionate about the wine and the property. Great English.The settings are beautiful and the wines are interesting (pretty good value for money), for Bordeaux reds surprisingly smooth and gentle, not overpowering with tannins. Overall can't recommend experience enough.

We were staying in one of the tents and it was unseasonably cold that night - so we were freezing! Despite their efforts to keep us warm with extra heaters and blankets

Restaurant service was very slow - but the food excellent

Une merveilleuse parenthèse dans un lieu exceptionnel. Nous y avons passé une nuit en suite familiale, les enfants ont adoré, la décoration est sublime, le château est à taille humaine, calme et reposant ! Petit déjeuner dans ses petits salons exquis !
