Considering that the reason for visiting a very close friend was a very sad occasion, the stay at Les Ourmes made the whole trip more bearable.
The end of the year is much better for me as I do not like very hot weather (35 deg) and hoards of people so this trip was very enjoyable.

What a diamond of a site
Used this site for a nights stop over but ended up staying 7 . Little lake a beach 1k away was beautiful. We also cycled to the main beach which is stunning. Fantastic cycle paths from campsite is easy. A spar 6 mins away on the bike. We will be back next year.
