ABSOLUTELY stunning vineyard!!! We had a fantastic tour of the gorgeous property and vineyard with a very knowledgeable guide. The wine was excellent, paired with an excellent charcuterie spread on their terrace. Highly recommend!

Lieu magnifique. Accueil excellent. 3ème grand cru classé de Margaux. Un lieu exceptionnel. Les chais sont magnifiques. Tout a été refait en 2015. Je vous conseille vivement ce lieu.

Chateau Kirwan’s Sips & Sweets wine tasting tour was as sweet and sublime as their wines. Marie who is responsible for this tasting creation was fantastic. She answered all our queries and my our tour enjoyable for all!

We had an excellent tour and wine tasting here. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, completely bilingual (French and English) and very excited to show people called Kirwan around. The chateaux is beautiful, the wines excellent and the vineyard and tour well worth the trip out from Bordeaux - just remember to book by phone first.

What an amazing experience! The grounds, the chateau, the tour - everything we experienced while onsite was sublime. Our wonderful guide Marie did an outstanding job bringing us into the world of Bordeaux wine, explaining little details that set Chateau Kirwan apart and with each pour explained the differences in the vintage and the little details that make each one unique. If you're going to Bordeaux put Chateau Kirwan on your MUST SEE list!

Château Kirwan is a winery in the Margaux appellation of the Bordeaux region of France. The wine produced here was classified as one of fourteen Troisièmes Crus (Third Growths) in the historic Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855. The place it's magnificent. As one of the wine tour pioneers in the Medoc region, Chateau Kirwan, family-owned estate, began to welcome wine amateurs and professionals in 1995. The winery offers a wide range of creative options such as culinary workshops, wine perfume creation, immersion tours, barrel tasting. Our favorite vintage are 2015 , 2016 and 2019. If you can you should try them all.

An incredible Chateau, part of the 1855 Classification, and still producing incredible wines in the classic style
Of Margaux. Our experience was incredible, with a tour of the property which included a walking history of the Chateau, followed by a tour of the production facility, and barrel rooms. Finally, a tasting of their incredible wine, along with a tasting of a library wine that was over 50 years old! It was all incredible, and an excellent way to spend our first day in Bordeaux on the Left Bank! Our guide at the Chateau, Sarah, was fantastic and our tour was arranged by “Bordeaux with Elodie”

En vacances avec un amateur de Margaux, nous avons fait 3 heures de route en août dernier pour visiter ce château. Après avoir payé 100 euros la visite à 4, nous avons acheté une bouteille de l'année de naissance de notre fils (2017) afin de la garder et de l'ouvrir pour ses 10 ans. Il nous en a coûté 65 euros pour finalement se rendre compte le lendemain que la même bouteille était à vendre 39 euros à l'intemarché situé à 2 km de notre lieu de vacances. Nous avons demandé un 'remboursement partiel ou un échange avec une autre bouteille, nous avons reçu des goodies. Merci pour le geste, nous les avons néanmoins rangés dans le garage pour éviter qu'ils ne 'nous rappellent cette amère expérience qui a bien grevé notre budget vacances et nous a donné le sentiment d'avoir jeté notre argent par la fenêtre.
Juste pour répondre à votre commentaire ci-dessous, je vous avais indiqué que venir changer la bouteille impliquait à nouveau un déplacement de 3 heures et je ne le pouvais pas. Je trouve en revanche très décevant de faire autant de route pour acheter un vin 25 euros plus cher au château qu'en grande surface et j'aurais apprécié un remboursement partiel ou un échange (par envoi) . C'était là ma demande initiale. Cela m'apprendra à visiter les yeux fermés, sans me renseigner un peu en amont parce que je rentre dans une belle maison! Merci en tous les cas pour votre réponse. On ouvrira la bouteille pour les 10 ans de notre fils, nous l'apprécierons sans nul doute (et nous rirons en repensant à la tête de mon conjoint dans le rayon de l'intermarché).

A beautiful Château. We had an absolutely extraordinary meal here. The staff were marvelous and the meal was excellent. The wine that they served was also delicious. We had three different wines with our dinner, perfectly paired. This is an extraordinary winery and a great experience.
