Un très beau moment passé en compagnie de la maîtresse des lieux. Un vin excellent qui permet offre un très beau choix entre des blancs magnifiques et un rouge exceptionnel. Une démarche en bio réfléchie, des vignes centenaires et un travail acharné font de cette cave, une cave d’exception. Merci pour l’accueil chaleureux et le temps passé ensemble.

This is a family-owned winery. We were welcomed by a wonderful lady who introduced us to the biodynamic winemaking process and shared the history of the winery and the land. She patiently explained each wine, the way the grapes are grown, and what makes the region so special. We tasted a variety of wines. Highly recommended!

We visited Domaine Ratt and Francoise gave us an incredibly insightful tour and tasting despite it being bottling day. She spoke excellent english, the wine was some of the best we’ve tried and her enthusiasm and passion left us with big smiles.

La mode assez récente du ouillage rend aujourd’hui n’importe quel cépage du Jura plus standard en évitant le côté oxydatif classique de ces vins.
Ici, on a le choix entre les deux, avec un soupçon de magie/sorcellerie à la sauce Rodolphe Steiner. Des vins très expressifs, assez fins, qui demandent tout d’emmène une attention et de la concentration. Des vins que je qualifierais de difficiles, et qui aiguisent ma curiosité. Le nez n’est pas toujours expressif, et il faut attendre la suite pour comprendre toute la puissance du terroir.

La localisation bizarre en plein dans la zone industrielle d’Arbois est le fruit de la spéculation ahurissante en centre ville qui chasse les « petites gens ». Déjà trois viticulteurs ont sauté le pas visiblement.
