Beautiful old Château with some rooms in the main original building, and some in the extension. Not all rooms had AC - ours didn't, but it was still quite cool with the shutters and a good tower fan. All very classic but not dated or tired - a very comfy room.
The pool and gym are very good. There are bikes to hire, though we didn't realise €25 per bike until we paid the bill - rather too expensive! Bikes were tough going on the sandy vineyard paths - would give them a miss and just walk to be honest.
We did a vineyard tour and tasted Château Meyre and Gallen - quite a short tour and felt like it should have been included in the stay since it wasn't very long or comprehensive. Best way to enjoy the wine here is to buy a couple bottles, order a charcuterie/cheese board, and enjoy it in the gardens out the front of the château. The wine is excellent and the boards were superb.
Breakfast was very good with eggs cooked to order and local pastries. There are self-service coffee machines available all day.
Service was very warm and the hotel is super relaxed.
We look forward to hopefully returning one day to this lovely spot!

Location is excellent, you are at the Margaux and other Medoc wineries within a few minutes of driving.
spacious, recently renovated and clean rooms each with its own personality (and colour on walls).
Staff super friendly and welcoming from the moment of check in - the lady even helped carry the baggage to the room upstairs.
She provided sheets for restaurants and châteaux around the area.
We had booked the wine tour & tasting accompanied with the platter which I recommend.
The pool is also great, and you can order their wines and cheese platters throughout the day.
The breakfast is extensive, you can order eggs as well.

The rooms were cozy and the shower had nice pressure.
Breakfast was great, and we relaxed and read outside in the sun. Sophie was our hero! When our taxi ride to the train station canceled she offered us a ride. This was an act of kindness that we will never forget.
Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.
L'établissement est magnifique. La chambre est agréable, spacieuse. Cet hôtel est bien situé, dans un joli cadre pour les visites, balades à vélo dans les environs ou la détente dans le jardin ou la piscine chauffée.
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la gentillesse et les attentions du personnel !

The grounds are lovely and inviting.
The nearby road is loud and busy. Keeping the windows closed was helpful.
Abbiamo soggiornato con una coppia di amici e fin da subito ci siamo innamorati della location e dell’atmosfera, il tutto grazie all’estrema ospitalità di Sophie che ci ha accolti con estrema gentilezza! Possibilità di degustare i loro vini, molto buoni, nel salotto du Chateux incorniciato da un romantico camino accesso giusto per noi! Possibilità di aggiungere una ricca colazione con prodotti da forno locali, portati ogni mattina!
Non vediamo l’ora di ritornarci!
