Amazing 5-day stay in idyllic surroundings. Our charming hosts made us so welcome and did everything they could to anticipate our needs. Will be coming back for sure!

Tout dans cette expérience a correspondu à nos attentes : le calme de la campagne à proximité de Sarlat, la gentillesse et le professionalisme de nos hotes, le charme du lieu et le soin apporté à la décoration de la suite Feijoa...A recommander aux amateurs de raffinement !

What a fantastic time we have had at Maison Cistus! The hosts were so warm and welcoming, and they did everything possible to anticipate our needs and surpass our expectations. We felt quite honoured to be sharing their little paradise - the pictures really do match reality! The gardens were even more beautiful and bigger than expected, you could easily spend a few days just relaxing in them! (And we also saw rabbits and deer!). It felt like a private villa at times too, as we often had the pool area to ourselves. The homecooked vegetarian breakfasts were lovely with little treats like heart-shaped cakes with raspberries from the garden. Our suite (Tilia) was beautifully decorated, comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed, including fridge, aircon, and a private, not overlooked, terrace. Even yoga mats too! If you can drag yourself away to do some sightseeing, Sarlat was just a 10 minute drive away, with its history, restaurants, shops and twice-weekly market. We will definitely be back! J'ai passé un excellent séjour à la Maison Cistus, une chambre d'hôtes très soignée, confortable, inspirée, qui permet une pause pleine de calme et de douceur. J'ai apprécié la gentillesse et l'attention des hôtes, la beauté du cadre, des suites, et les merveilles du jardin-paradis, du temple de l'eau qui donnent à ce superbe lieu un supplément d'âme qui nourri et enveloppe. Une précieuse rencontre !

Our stay at Maison Cistus was amazing. We are experienced travellers who love luxury and quality. Maison Cistus does not fall short on any front. The accommodation was great and every detail has been taken care of. Nothing has been left to chance. Delphine and Jeff and not to forget our new love Boddhi, are super sweet but also great hosts. They do everything they can to make your stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast is delicious with a new dish every day from their own kitchen or their own impressive garden where you can walk around and pick flowers and fruit. Maison Cistus is driven by passion and that is noticeable in everything. If you are looking for a little paradise in the Dordogne then you need not look any further. Unfortunately we can only give a maximum of 5 stars but Maison Cistus certainly deserves one more.
