Pros:
Excellent service and a well run campsite, the team were friendly and helpful and the Campin app is useful too.
The onsite bar and restaurant serves lovely food
Views of Beynac are spectacular from the campsite
Facilities were spotless and good. Best I have experienced at any campsite
The pool is excellent
Beynac is easy walking distance, with many highlights of the Dordogne an easy short drive.
Cons:
There was a hornet nest somewhere on site which meant frequent unwanted giant visitors to the camp
Pitches are not the biggest or most private, even our XL pitch was just big enough for my tent (but I do have a large 8mx4m tent)
On this family run campsite we felt so relaxed, it was our first time in the area and they gave us such good advice on what to do in the area and how to do it.
The campsite, and all the facilities are better than any we've stayed on before and we've been doing this a long time.
We will definitely be returning. ????
