Notre fille nous a offert ce séjour et nous pensions trouver un vrai confort en allant dans un Relais et Châteaux nous avons dû changer de chambre pour la deuxième nuit .

Magnifique établissement, chambre spacieuse et très confortable, personnel accueillant et compétent, jardins splendides ! Les différents espaces de l'hôtel sont eux aussi très charmants. Le petit déjeuner était également de très bonne qualité. Nous y reviendrons !

We stayed at Le Vieux Logis for 2 nights as part of a Backroads cycling trip.|It was an excellent base for exploring the Dordogne region and is located in the tiny but charming, sleepy village of Trémolat.|We had a large ground floor suite that looked out over the beautiful grounds. It was spacious and beautifully furnished with tasteful decorative touches. |We particularly loved the separate sunroom where we could sit at the end of the day with a glass of wine and look out over the gardens.|Our one issue was that the bathroom shower did not contain the water properly and did not drain well so that the bathroom floor became very wet. |Breakfast was included and was served in the main restaurant. The breakfast was a very generous buffet with a huge range of choices and it set up up for the day ahead.|The highlight was the Michelin 1 star restaurant. The food was beautiful particularly the stuffed leg of lamb with artichoke tapenade and rocket pesto.

we had lunch here on a sunny day, it will be a meal/experience we will always remember.

there is a set menu which you dont see prior to them bringing out the food. I only eat fish so they accomodated my dietary requirements.

it takes approx 2/2.5 h for the whole meal, so come here to enjoy a long lunch.

the setting made us feel like we are in a movie scene, the food matched the venue too.

the service is a little unfriendly but maybe its just a cultural thing!?

overall I would definetly reccomend this place for lunch, such a great deal for 75€ per person!
