Le Temps Retrouvé is the most beautifully decorated home I have ever seen. The chateaux pale in comparison! Frederic and Jozsef are warm, wonderful hosts who have created an Art Deco haven in the middle of an elegant property in Sarlat-la- Caneda. Staying with them was a highlight of our trip to France. Their attention to detail extends to the care of their guests. We look forward to returning someday!

Loin du tumulte mais à deux pas des monuments historiques de Sarlat, délicieusement posée dans un beau parc paisible, la maison de Frédéric et József est un refuge… pour lire, se reposer, déguster un petit déjeuner soigné et un accueil où le sourire et la gentillesse sont comme des anges gardiens….

I spent 2 nights and 3 wonderful days in this wonderful Chambre d'haute. Frédéric and Jozsef are probably the warmest and most welcoming hosts I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. You feel welcome from the very first moment and very much like you are at home with friends. The rooms are lovingly decorated, the excellent breakfast is lovingly prepared and served. The beautiful pool and garden invite you to relax and linger. Probably the most heartwarming and relaxing vacation experience I ever had. I look forward to returning to this wonderful place and people soon.

We absolutely loved our time at Le Temps Retrouvé ! Hosts Jozsef and Frédéric take incredible care of their guests and are passionate about every detail in their beautiful decorated house. You can easily walk to the center of Sarlat in 15 minutes, and return to an oasis of relaxation each day! When traveling to the Dordogne region, don't miss this spot - you are in easy access of all the region's cultural and culinary gems!
