I’ve been twice to this elegant restaurant in the heart of Reims;
1st was a few weeks after its opening, no Michelin star back then. It was a nice discovery but had this frustrating residual feeling of something missing for it to be a great culinary experience.
The food was very good: though some dishes had a margin for improvement (the chicken comes to mind)
Service was also suitable with an energetic, young staff who gave their utmost efforts to serve professionally & with a smile.
But I remember leaving the restaurant unfulfilled!

Going back 2 days ago with a friend, to test again after the 1st star was awarded, I was pleasantly surprised:
If you visit during spring/summertime, you can enjoy a relaxing setting in the garden, sipping champagne & tasting their amuses-bouches. We had the lentils with sweet onion cream, delicious!
Their whisky menu was very limited (only 3), and the 2 we tasted weren’t on par.
The rest was a crescendo culinary experience where each course was better than the previous! We both really didn’t want the dinner to end, and THAT is a hallmark of fine dining!
The course that struck my palate and memory the most is the Redfish with artichokes & morel. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!
Another was the savory tuna with a carrot variation side dish!
My advice for a full experience is to opt for the champagne/wine pairing: we trusted the sommelier with his choices for each dish and weren’t disappointed at all.
The dessert wasn’t to my tasting unfortunately, the acidity of the raspberries was overwhelming, though accompanied by a delicate cream.

It’s a VERY nice address for an exquisite meal, even though Reims has some well established Michelin-star restaurants. And I feel that a 2nd star is easily within reach????

Très belle expérience ! L'accueil et le services sont agréables au même titre que la terrasse.
Les assiettes nous rappellent pour leur part que le Chef avait 2 étoiles par le passé.
Les accords mets-vin sont eux aussi parfaitement trouvés.

Merci pour ce voyage culinaire et cette belle parenthèse pour notre anniversaire de mariage .
