Idéalement situé au centre-ville de Périgueux, notre hôtel se trouve à deux pas de la cathédrale Saint-Front, de la ville historique médiévale et renaissance ainsi que du musée gallo-romain Vesunna. We don't usually book chain hotels but there didn't seem to be a lot of hotels on offer in Perigueux. We found this Mercure to be absolutely fine, once we had moved a few bits of furniture around the room so we could actually walk around the bed. The room was very spacious and had a small balcony overlooking the Place (the step up could have done with a grabhandle on the doorframe for safety). There was no window which was odd, only the balcony which did not provide much natural light. ||The staff were lovely and very helpful. ||The hotel is perfectly positioned for tourists, being equidistant between the town and the old Roman ruins. Just up the hill there is a large Monoprix for room stocking purposes. We would certainly stay here again if we are ever in the neighbourhood.

Très bon accueil, équipe pro, très gentille et bienveillante. Chambre sympa mais côté place un peu bruyant surtout à cause des voitures et motos "tuning" parfois très bruyantes (c'est à la mode hélas...). Demander coté chambre côté cour de préférence.
