Visited these gardens on one of the hottest and humid days of the year! Bad mistake as there is a reasonable uphill walk to get tovtge gardens!! Lovely people on reception and very polite and helpful. There is a good numbered walk round the gardens to follow which is great as you dont miss anything. Information is provided in French and English which was great for us!! Interesting to learn about the different plants abd what they have been used for over time. We enjoyed the oversized games that were there playing checkers for the first time in years. The highlight is undoubtedly the view of the Dordogne and Vezeres rivers which merge there.
I would 100% recommend if you are in the area but pick a cooler day!!

Steep path from the public car park, but well worth the hike. Great views, but the highlight was the walk back down through the village, utterly enchanting and peaceful. The most beautiful village in the Dordogne, and so quiet. Hardly any tourists!

Très belle expérience avec comme bouquet final une vie époustouflante. Personnel très agréable je recommande. En plein chaleur c est un écrin de fraîcheur. Mais attention la pente te est raide pour mériter l'endroit

Nous avons franchement hésité à y faire un tour en raison du tarif (2 adultes et 2 enfants)
Nous étions conscients que le prix est justifié en raison du travail des équipes sur place mais nous avions peur d'être déçus surtout pour les enfants.
Finalement, nous avons décidé d'y aller et c'était vraiment une activité sympa. Les enfants avaient chacun un livret de jeu adapté à leur âge et ça a rythmé de manière ludique et rigolote parfois notre visite.
Les jardins sont très jolies et les différentes vues sur les paysages alentours sont vraiment chouettes.
Nous avons passé 2 heures à flâner et jouer. Enfants comme adultes, nous étions ravis.
