GORDON RAMSEY'S BREAD STREET KITCHEN & BAR

I recently visited Bread Street Kitchen in Dubai for their Sunday roast, and it was a delightful experience overall. The food was as great as you would expect from a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, with delicious roast meats and all the trimmings. The atmosphere was amazing, with a lively yet cozy ambiance that added to the enjoyment of the meal.

However, I must say that the prices were a bit on the higher side, even for Dubai standards. While the quality of the food and the overall experience justified the cost to some extent, it would have been even more enjoyable if the prices were slightly more affordable.

Overall, Bread Street Kitchen is a great choice for a special meal or a treat, offering top-notch food and a wonderful atmosphere, but be prepared to pay a bit more for the experience."

Now, we've been many times to Bread Street, always more than decent food, and we have especially appreciated their brunch.

So for the Saturday after Easter, my wife called and booked us for the brunch, double checking that there was a brunch, since it wasn't mentioned on the website. "Yes ma'am we have brunch on Saturday."

Saturday at 11.37 am, a mere 53 minutes before the brunch is supposed to begin, they call and say "Oh, by the way - you are aware of the fact that there is no brunch today?"

I understand mistakes happen, but the fact that they confirmed it two days prior, and their complete unwillingness to help us out with either creating a brunch package, or coming up with alternatives, left us with a sad aftertaste. Not even the manager would acknowledge that they had made a mistake.

From what we were told, they've stopped brunches altogether now, which is even more sad. But, with the lack of service given, not much of a loss.

Ordered butter chicken, was too sweet as per Indian standard but over all experience was good.

Booked a brunch for 9 people and even had them confirm back to me that they still did brunch. On the same day, 53 min before our brunch, and when we were about to jump in the taxi, they called up to say there was no brunch that day. Just a “sorry” and were not even willing to make a package for us or the kids. Bad!
