Hamptons Cafe is a mini-chain of family-friendly restaurants in Dubai with a name inspired by the wealthy New York City neighborhood. It serves an eclectic mix of dishes that draw inspiration from cuisines from across the world.
This - their Jumeirah 2 location - offers ample seating on three different floors - a porch and inside seating hall on ground, an inside dining hall on the first, and an (inside) dining area and balcony on the second. We chose the scenic balcony looking toward the ocean.
Their menu is quite extensive - with dishes reflecting traditions and ideas from Greece, Italy, Japan, China, Korea, India, and many more. I am generally wary of restaurants that claim to do a little bit of everything but in this case, they somehow manage to pull it off.
The food is decent. In our group, we ordered
1) Avocado Crostini ????
2) Hamptons Shakshuka ????
My shakshuka - with beef sausage bits added to a traditional shakshuka - was quite good.
