Very nice and not to big camping Municipal. Some places are bigger then others, clean toilets. Electricity and water available. Black water and toilet dump also available. 10 minutes by bicycle to the centre and castle.
Bit of a strange reservation, we got first place nr 9, then a mail with nr 18, that was occupied and after a phone call we were told we could park our camper anywhere on a free space... Typical French?

Ayant réservé un emplacement par internet et au cours du trajet entre la Lorraine et Vitré, soit 750 km, quelle déconvenue de trouver la barrière bloquée à 20h10. Personne au téléphone pour vous venir en aide. D'autant que le monsieur de l'accueil au téléphone m'a rappelé pour me dire qu'il me donnait un emplacement plus grand mais n'a pas répondu lorsque j'ai demandé jusqu'à quelle heure on pouvait arriver. Et j'ai payé d'avance 20€. Je trouve qu'au niveau accueil, il y a mieux. Je vais voir demain matin, quelle solution me sera proposée. Je précise qu'à 20h45, nous avons été bien accueilli au camping Les rives du lac à Châtillon en Vendelais. Bravo à cette dame pour son sens du service.
Nous sommes vraiment très déçus.

A very nice municipal campsite . The pitches are a good size and in a lovely green landscape . We walked to the chateau in the old town which was easy enough and took around 40 minutes . The gent on reception did a great job of making us feel welcome and offered advice and maps if needed on the area . He also spoke brilliant English which was good for us . Thanks
