LES MAISONS DE BRICOURT

Un magnifique voyage culinaire dans un cadre exceptionnel. Merci à la famille Rollinger et sa formidable équipe pour ce séjour inoubliable.

C'est mon 5ème séjour au Château Richeux à Cancale. Et c'est toujours avec bonheur d'être chez la famille Roellinger ! Toute l'équipe est aux petits soins On vous offre le café de bienvenue chance avec ce beau temps à la terrasse avec une vue magnifique ♡♡♡La cuisine excellente différence avec Hugo Roellinger c'est normale nouvelle génération ! A la lecture du menu on ne sait toujours pas ce qu'on va manger !! Surprise surprise !! Et on découvre peu à peu le menu qui est top ! On attend enfin moi j'attends avec impatience le plat suivant tellement que ces découvertes ces dégustations sont un vrai délice !! Que du plaisir !! Une très belle maison que je conseille aussi bien pour le restaurant que pour l'hôtel les chambres sont magnifiques avec une vue !! Et le p.déjeuner avec tous ces bons produits de la Bretagne et merci Rodolphe pour ces magnifiques fleurs partout dans l'hôtel et le restaurant!! Un grand merci à toute l'équipe du Château Richeux et merci aussi à Hugo Roellinger Jérôme Aumont et sa brigade pour leur gentil accueil pour moi la petite belge comme on dit !!Et aussi à Valentine qui m'a servi de guide pendant mon séjour que je connais un peu grâce à mes 5 séjours et qui a répondu avec gentillesse à toutes mes questions!!merci pour cet excellent séjour au Château Richeux. We stayed at the hotel this month (September) for one night in room FENUGREC. The room was lovely, very clean and welcoming. The breakfast was great but with 32 Euros very pricy.

However, we were disappointed with a few aspects, particularly regarding communication.

Upon arrival, we received minimal information about our stay or the property; we were simply handed the keys and shown to our room. OK, we can live with that.

We were confused about spa access. We thought we had it included, but upon arrival, we learned this wasn’t the case. The website wasn’t clear on this; the “être-bien”/“wellbeing” tab didn’t explicitly state that spa access was only for the “Ferme du Vente” lodge (or very far at the bottom needing to click furthr into the page) and not for the Chateaux. Disappointing, but with this we also can live with.

On the morning of the 16th, the fire alarm went off at 6 AM. While it’s good to know the system works, we were alarmed to find the emergency exits locked were locked, forcing us to exit through our room via the Garden (our room was on ground floor). No one informed us or other guests about the situation. After 5–10 minutes, an employee turned off the alarm, but when I inquired at reception, I was told the escape routes were indeed locked (as if it would be ok!!).

The next day at checkout, we thought someone might at least mention the false alarm, or a small word of apology for the inconvenience beeing being torn out of bed at 6 o'clock with a deafening alarm. But there was no mention of it, nor were we asked how we had enjoyed our stay. For us it felt as it was simply swept under the carpet as if nothing has ever happened.

We have message the hotel after our stay about this situation execpt of a Message that they will get back to us we never received any other feedback. And here the limits are simply exceeded - unexceptable for us.

We’re sharing our thoughts because we believe communication and guest safety should be fundamental priorities. For a hotel of almost 1000 euro overnight stay cost (incl. breakfast here) we expect a bit more.

A beautiful, well-appointed property with wonderful grounds and great views of the English Channel and the Normandy coast. But the real reason to visit is the food at Le Coquillage and Le Bistro de Cancale. Local seafood flattered by creative flavors and precise cooking. Well worth a trip.

Un lieu magique et convivial ! Une magnifique chambre vue sur mer avec accès direct dans le très beau et accueillant jardin . Une petite cheminée où il fait bon faire crépiter quelques bûches ! Lite spacieux et literie exceptionnelle . Un endroit où se poser et… se reposer.|Seul petit bémol : malgré ce grand confort et l’emplacement de rêve, le prix nous a semblé un peu surfait malgré tout tant au niveau de la chambre que du petit déjeuner servi en chambre (ou en terrasse par beau temps) certes avec des produits de qualité mais tout de même proposé à…32€ …
