We stayed here over a long weekend. The hotel is around 10 minutes walk from the ferry port. We had travelled as foot passengers from Portsmouth overnight and arrived at the hotel at around 08:15. We were able to leave our luggage and even though we were not actually guests we were welcomed to have breakfast. ||This is a family run hotel and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. ||The breakfast was typical European style with plenty of fresh bread, pastries and cheeses. One of our party is coeliac and the hotel were able to accommodate this. Gluten free bread and crackers were available and when we had brunch on the Sunday, gluten free options of all the delicacies were available. ||The rooms are clean and comfortable; the Wi-Fi was a bit hit and miss but you don’t go on holiday to sit on your phone!||Location was great, 1 minute walk to the beach, beach bar and islands, walkable at low tide. The ramparts are next to the hotel and the shops, bars and restaurants are around 5 minutes walk. ||A great base for a break in Saint Malo.

Hôtel idéalement situé pour la découverte de la ville de Saint-Malo. |Personnel agréable, chambre fonctionnelle, propre avec petite salle de bain mais douche assez grande. |Petit déjeuné avec un bon rapport qualité prix.|Nous avons apprécié notre séjour au pied des remparts de St Malo. |Le petit moins : les escaliers raides et étroits (mais allant avec le charme de la bâtisse).||Le gros plus : la vue mer magnifique (qui vaut largement de monter les étages !).
