We have been going to Motte Jean for over ten years and it has always been wonderful. Sadly the winds of change have swept over. The lovely dining room with its quirky ornaments and bright copper has been cleared out. The charming old dining chairs have been replaced with tired wooden kitchen chairs. We were casually greeted by a young man in scruffy trousers and t shirt who had only a vague idea of what he was doing.|The lovely breakfast with its fresh and varied bakery goods, proper jam, pot of coffee and breton cake has gone to be replaced by two tired croissants, watery orange juice and half a cup of coffee from an automatic machine for which we were charged 15 euros each.We have loved this hotel for so long and were shocked to find the changes. We would think seriously before coimg again.Possibly Madame Simone is not aware of the changes.

Séjour de 3 nuits. Emplacement parfait pour rayonner entre Cancale et Saint Malo. Chambre superbe, accueil impeccable, et dîner de grande qualité (possibilité en effet de dîner sur place, pratique après une journée de visite). Le chef concocte son menu uniquement avec des produits locaux.

Les nouveaux propriétaires réenchantent l’établissement.
Nous recommandons fortement ce lieu magique et paisible. Idéalement situé entre Cancale et Saint Malo pour profiter du marché aux huîtres, de la Pointe du Grouin ou encore du Mont Saint Michel.
Mention spéciale pour le pain, crêpes et chouquettes faits maison lors du petit déjeuner.

Escapade bretonne idéale pour un week-end d’évasion.
L’endroit est très charmant, et authentique.
Les hôtes sont accueillants et très chaleureux.
Nous recommandons ++ cet endroit.
P.S : ne passer pas à côté des plats du chef Eugene !

Nous avons passé un magnifique week-end dans cet hôtel qui vient tout juste de re ouvrir pour la saison avec une nouvelle équipe chaleureuse et attentionnée, une cuisine exigeante , inventive (dîner à réserver la veille ) d'un chef qui est passé par Ferrandi / Septime / Aster à Bruxelles)
Allez y nombreux !
